Something I should mention, is that this was created with a store-bought unity asset, and was not created specifically for Yandere Simulator. Dev put this together to show what it could look like in the future, and there is no 100% confirmation as of late that this will be added/expanded on in the future.

This prototype town looks absolutely beautiful! I really like this idea. Yandere Simulator is getting better and better as time goes by, I'm loving this development. A small town can be used for many things. New events for the Rivals and Senpai, possibly new shops, new quests we can do. Also, the game will feel more like an open world game. The school is huge, but it can get boring because 90% of gameplay happens there. walking around the town will make the game more fun. Of course, I understand that YanSim is just an indie game and adding all these stuff will require lots of time and money. This is why I'm hoping for the crowd funding campaign to be a success. Imagine all the things that can be added to the game! If YanDev decides to add this in the game, I support this idea 100%. Who's with me?
I like the idea, 10 times better than the actual town we had years ago. Maybe some benches and people here and there, some other students, kids, etc. so it feels more alive, maybe something to limit where the player can go but not so obvious like those train tracks

The little girl with blue hair with bangs in Ryoba timeline in town, and in Ayano timeline, in town there was a girl with the same hair and wearing a black suit and wearing a gloves as the little girl in ryoba timeline is grown up.
Such a big town could allow us to sabotage our rivals at home or stalk senpai to get some sort of boost during the day or the next day (such as loosing our sanity slower)
If this happens, he can make more events with Senpai and the rivals happen in the town. The town can have more shops added since it's not just a street and the game will visually look more great.

@@_mpp_200 No, he's not focusing on the rivals right now. he's focused on balancing overpowered game mechanics, adding quality of life improvements, replacing old models and animations, cleaner UI and stuff. The game will be getting more improvements and fixes before the rivals get's worked on. crowd funding campaign will happen before any work goes on them.
I think that’s not just an prototype of “what if” in mine opinion it’s the futur of the things when you’ve to choose where you want to go the things “???” That’s just my opinion and that’s probably not that but who knows:)!
