These things are great for organic waste like garden and food, you cant go wrong with a Rotopress there. Plus I have memories of these, I used to ride around in the cab of the rotopress which collected our stuff when I was a kid. It was typically a big Leyland DAF 360 though sometimes a similar looking Seddon Atkinson would turn up.
As someone from Perth, Australia, this is my first time seeing what the garbage trucks in Perth, Scotland look like. The Perth (and rest of Australia) garbage trucks are typically the side loaders with the arm similar to American trucks. I think you sometimes get the rear loaders for apartments/commercial waste and council bulk collection, but most are the side loaders with the hydraulic arms.
Wow, someone from Perth. If you have JJ Richardson they have Rotopress as well. I've seen the Australian trucks. They are cool but they don't have much variety. Yeah they have rear loaders on commercial waste a lot of the time.
Wow absolute brilliant video!! Love the 32t rotopress interesting that PKC are one of the last councils buying them. Crew sounded brilliant too love a bit of banter 😂 Really lucky finding this hopefully get the chance to see one myself at some point
Gee you only just start filming and you're getting job offers ha ha! Great work, shame about the weather. £40 for green waste, how frequent is the service and how often do you need to pay the £40? Nice close up of the bin tippers and hopper too, I think the Rotopress is ideal for green and food waste, not yet sold on it for general waste and recycling. Nice video, keep 'em coming!
I know! Yeah the weather changed every minute. Its 40£ every year for a collection every 2 weeks. Yeah they are ideal for garden waste. Thanks, will do!
I spent several years driving Econics, bloody awful trucks, air con fails almost immediately, blind spots galore, gutless and not particularly comfortable. I'd take a Dennis over one of them any day.

Amazing video! Also, it’s a 2018 plate not 2019.
Oh yeah lol
Woah, why the thing spin?
It helps biodegradation of the garden waste

I'm sure it's easy enough to find a Dennis these days
