Excellent video and excellent shoe! I just received some 1997 Sanfords in "Burnished Bourbon Calf" (you're right--basically walnut, but mine have some wild variations).
I put Bick 4 both on the inside and the outside of my shoes. I put Bick 4 on with my fingers. That way it all goes on the shoes and none of it soaks into the rag. Bick 4 is very easy to wash off my fingers. Since Bick 4 is good for leather (and non-toxic) it's probably also good for skin, too.

Yes, the Fairhaven is usually at least 10 years old, and possibly 20 years.

Hahaha. I have those and I called AE to ask about exactly what color they are. When the lady said bourbon I couldn’t believe it.
