Hi Itchy, Thanks for posting this. As far as the scuff on your tank, I agree that it was probably someone who was clueless and didn’t know how to do a mid-height rearward mule kick. Or possibly a child.
As far as leaving the grief support group, consider that you have had a mutual sharing with those people. Give and take. The group facilitator should be much better in tune with how things go and receptive to input. Best wishes.
Oh, speaking of the rear seat, fondest memories of your videos with lovely Val riding with you. God bless.
I own a 1999 stock original paint Heritage Springer. I washed it a few days ago detailed it today and rode it in the sunshine.
Nice video mark... we love them all...
Itchy dude another entertaining vid hope your ride was enjoyable.
Bikes and re like wives if its not yours DONT touch itl!!!!
Never get on someone's horse, old lady, or bike! That can end badly for you!
Itchy, great video! Getting caught up on your latest video drops. You look and sound good brother. As you say we will always grieve a loved one we lost. And there is a time and place for support amongst a grieve community. But as my family learned when we lost our dad, and we grieved still to this day, but it was important to get back out into the world, amongst our family, friends and activity to lift up our spirits, continue to celebrate and share stories about dad. Some grieve communities can have one dragging on and on, sad over a loss, sharing in others sadness and hurt, and it makes it difficult to pick up your bootstraps, and take steps forward to finding joy in your life again. I think you’ve done it right. It helped you in those early difficult times, and you were available to encourage and support others as you healed and got to a better place. Certainly well timed to hand that over to others now to support a role you participated in. As for the guy wanting to grab hands and call out names, he needs the counseling. What he’s selling won’t be pleasing to the Lord.
Good video Mark. I’ve had a lot of little kids excited to see a motorcycle at gas stops even a dr office lol. I’ve always let ‘em sit on it so their parents can take a picture of em. Scary in a way I guess , but those kids light up .
I agree with you with the chanting deal, that’s pretty strange in my opinion. God Bless !
Most Annoying Situation. GOD BLESS YOU
I got some deep scratches on my front fender of my C-50 Boulevard. What in the world? How did that happen? It looks awful! I thought maybe trying to straighten out the garage I picked up something and dragged it across the fender. A few rides later I realized parking my bike in the garage, I bumped up against the rear of my weight bench. Awwwww! How dumb could I be?
Mecguire #3 wax will take scratches out really nice. 😎👍
My wife is the only one I trust to take my bike for a ride. But that’s rare because she has her own Harley 👍👍
Hay Mark,
Try a little Novus scuff remover,
there’s 1 - 2 - and 3, 1 is for clean & shine, 2 is for light scuff marks, ( which would work on your tank issue )and 3 for deep scratches, they’re all great products and you can either order them off the internet or you Harley dealer.
Take care
Doc
Thanks Itchy may God bless you
My buddy let a coworker ride his bike in front of a grocery store and they guy did a loop and panicked. He hit one of those yellow poles and hurt his leg and totaled the bike. Never let anyone else ride it unless they are prepared to buy it. Even then no.
Hey, itchy, stay strong. 💔🇺🇲
When buffing your tank keep checking your rag or whatever your using for color then your through the clear coat then be carefull
Your Heritage is a classic. I'll bet some babe got her picture taken on it?
Its a ‘99 Fat Boy, right?
Itchy, I have had this same issue with people lifting their young child on my bike to get a picture. I walk up on them and they say my daughter wanted a picture on the bike. I try to keep my cool and I would just let them know that they are the adult and should not allow this. I also let them know that this would be the same if I sat on the hood of your car to get a picture and I don't think you would like that either. SMH!!!
thanks for the video Mark .It would be awesome if some day you could have a small meet n greet camp out. lol .hopefully half way between you and I .I'm from wauconda,IL. sit around drink beverage of choice tell stories laugh and relaxed. If you do that let me know...IM IN.Our lives, line of work and motorcycles parallel in many ways.I think it would be a great time.Even though your much younger,I'm 72 in December.
thanks again Mark,for the video
Maybe one day!
I own a 08 Victory Vegas Low garage kept, I never park my bike where I cannot see it, I equate someone just jumping on your motorcycle without permission is like someone pulling up in a sports car I admire and just jumping in the car just to see what it feels like while the occupants are away.
Hey Itchy how many miles do you have on your Fat Boy ? Looks pretty good for a 99 !!!
I suspect you scraped it somehow. That’s the most logical answer. Got a buddy with a freewheeler “servicar” his back fender was scraped. Was sure someone did it. Until I watched his medal shoelace guides scrape it as he got on and off.
I had my trike tuned and i got a flat tire in a round about because it accelerated faster than I was accustomed to.
maybe a squirrel was in the garage
Cat?
at a big event my wife's bike got a big dent in it....some jerks out there
Thanks mark
❤️✌🏻
Mark, You touched an area, PARKING, that everyone should be aware of, Bikers that is. A trip to N.H. a few weeks ago found me pulling into an unfamiliar restaurant. No hot top, just crushed rock on their lot. Saw another bike already there parked & he was in the eatery before me. I pulled in far away from everybody else so I'd have clearance to get out easily. It was Not to be. The wheels got settled in the loose stones and you know what my problem is I'm sure. With some extra effort I managed to free myself from that ugly situation. Well I thought I was using good judgement as I spotted a perfect parking spot. So I don't pull into lots where it isn't paved with hot top any more. As of a week now, my brakes are done, my oil changed, and I've been adding fuel injector cleaner a few times. It runs like a top. Our drought ended today 9/19/24 Thursday with 0.01 inches of rain in the Boston area. Friday & Saturday will be more that that, we hope. But that means keeping the olde Indian in the barn. That's ok because the farmers gotta have their fair share of needed weather, not just us Bike Riders.
More than likely washing and drying.
You should run and mount like Tom Mix. lol
A couple of weeks ago a took a big chip out of the paint on my 1979 Triumph Bonneville, it was totally my own fault, just plain bloody careless, at least I did it and only have myself to blame. It does make you cuss though🤬
Squerl hes right.
Squirrel, he's right.
Fixed it for you.
Cat?
Do u ever get spooked being there alone 😆sorry man @17:25 when u was walking in the the round about with the house in the backdrop for some reason gave me the creeps hair on my arms stood up like u was being watched from the windows 👀 😂its the spooky season 😆
Don’t let your imagination get too crazy. 😂
We are in the hardest part of the drought right now here in my part of West Virginia it’s absolutely miserable we really need some rain. Much love and respect Mark
Always use a new micro cloth to clean bike don’t use it again to clean painted parts u can never get the grit out of the cloth no matter how many times you wash them and always use a new cloth on wind shields ✌️👍🫶
At 6:36 you almost hit your tank with you chain drive wallet.? Looks like you have a bunch of keys hanging.......
Never gonna happen here.
