Song list: All 4 couples: Freddy Munoz - Inocente Couple 1: Hector Acosta - Tu Veneno Couple 2: Nelly Soriano - Hoy Lo Siento Couple 3: Andy Andy - Mi Alma Loca Couple 4: Domenic Marte - Cuando un amor se va
I thought the first couple was better than 3rd place...a bit cocky but still more natural and smooth than the 1st place winners. Song - Tu Veneno by Hector Acosta.
2nd and 3rd should switch imo. 2nd-place couple is very good technically but I sense no connection between the two; it was a routine perfected through practice but little heart. 1st-place looks like they had a great time dancing with each other and is a pleasure to watch - something I believe counts far more than the difficulty of the routine.
@Edwin Ferreras You say "no comment", yet you feel compelled to take a dig at them. I'm not sure why you think you're the Bachata police patrolling the web challenging fun social dancers to a dance-off. As an instructor why don't you try posting your challenge on a Chaves & Sylvia video? Try a dance-off against them to a romanctic bacahta like Perdoname. You might not fare so well. Your reponse reflects the steroypical NYC attitude of being snobish and arrogant. Just like the snobish "NYC Touch" members are so into themselves that they do their dominican footwork regardless of the song that is playing.
Frank Argueta I don't think that's the real Edwin Ferreras. It looks to be a troll posing as Edwin. I've met Edwin at a couple bachata congresses and Edwin Ferreras is a true professional and loves to share his love and respect for dance and dancers. The real Edwin would not be going around online bad mouthing other dancers. Just my two cents.
Hmm I mean I hear bachata music playing in the background but the dancing? no comment. The guy short bald guy in the white shirt was okay, the others need to quit or come take some classes. My name is Edwin M. Ferreras from NYC and I challenge all of them to a friendly dance-off. Check out my videos by searching "Bachata Edwin" If you agree with me Thumbs Up! :P

What is the name of the song that the first place couple (in other words, the second individual couple to compete) danced to?
Hello !
Does anyone knows the names of songs used by the three couples who won the bachata final?
2nd and 3rd should switch imo. 2nd-place couple is very good technically but I sense no connection between the two; it was a routine perfected through practice but little heart.

The couple of second place: the man dance dominican style, he was the best but she lacks much because otherwise they had won the first place.
