We had those HP 250 system terminals (shown at about 1:20) in use until the end of 1999. System had the bug or it would have likely continued for many years after. Built like a tank.😁
It was an early iteration of the Nike+ tech that was in some of Nike's shoes in the 2000s. These days those functions have been absorbed by smartwatches.
back in the 80's computers were simple & easy to use. you didn't have to wait feel's like forever for the computer to load up. you just press a button on the back & boom it's on. no waiting. i miss them days.
I don’t know what alternate reality you lived in but here in this timeline one of the main complaints about old computers was the boot-up time. And the ones that did boot quickly didn’t have an OS so you had to load in any program by disc, or cassette tape.
