In my experience . I am also great full nag call center ako. I learned a lot specially ung ADAPTABILITY and FLEXIBILITY. Dun mo din makikita ung ibat ibang klase ng Tao. I was so disappointed lang Sa management when they promised a lot pero ndi nman tinutupad.
Call Center Industry also gives an opportunity to the PWDs and good thing there's no age limit as long as you can do the work accurately that would be fine
i hope i can work also in a call center to 😢to help myself be confident and improve speaking and pronouncing English but the interviews are difficult.. mental block attacks once nervousness came...😢😢
I super agree. I became fluent in English kasi four years akong nag work sa call center. I also learned to understand how different people act and think and I have developed empathy as well. This job has molded me in so many ways specially when Ms. Lyqa discussed about active listening, super agree. I'm proud of this job. Now I am able to teach English very well to my students in public school also with my Korean students online dahil sa job na to. :)

Those stigmas are just making the call center society have a bad image but literally it isn't and it's all a myth. It infuriates me when fellow Filipinos belittle you about the job you are in. Ako, I am still unemployed, and nainis lang ako sa kaibigan ko na masyadong maliit ang tingin sa BPO industry on the basis of educational attainment. Ika nga rin mga magulang ko, "diskarte sa buhay ang susi kung gusto mong makamit lahat," which speaks of the reality to a number of successful Filipinos today.
Its fun and challenging at the same time to work in a BPO industry, the only problem lies will be in the management's conditions and some of your bosses.

A job in a call center is honorable. What isn't honorable are majority of the people in it. Jologs, magnanakaw, immoral, social climbers. You name it, this industry has it. It's has been like this since they lowered the qualifications down to HS graduates. The answers from Carlo Ople are applicable from the days of old. Not anymore today, bro. Not anymore. These days, panakot na lang ang call center sa mga batang tamad mag aral. "So ano, ayaw mo mag aral?? So sa call center na lang ang bagsak mo!".
