That are his parents, yes. And in the audience his Grandparents who raised him. He calls them Mom and Dad. Sveta and Kanat are his „real“ Mom and Dad. But they where very young when Dimash was born and due to Kazakh Tradition , they gave Dimash in the hands of Kanats Mom. So both of them could end their university etc. They are both well known singers in Kazachstan.

Actually it is Kazakh tradition that the eldest son is raised by the Grandparents. I am guessing to preserve the old ways. So they understand traditions and such. Though not sure on that exactly.

The father composed this song as a gift to his wife. Yes, he is shorter than Dimash, but his features are alike from Dimash's childhood. They are a VERY close family, and, never argue. Seriously. His parents must be the two gentlest, most gracious parents in the world.They do not get angry with Dimash, they are so gentle to him, and trust him in everything. She is a professional opera singer, by the way, and very popular. Also she used to be very socially and politically active. Father is composer and producer for opera. Sister Raushan (19) also has a beautiful voice and is very beautiful. YOunger brother plays the Dombra. All come with him on concerts when possible. Sister manages stage. Everyone helps.
Dimash started in the music academy when he was 5, and from that time on, he has trained his voice for at least 3 hours EVERY day. So he started with perfect equipment, and since then he has been improving it.
This family is a very close, loyal and loving family. They don't criticize each other. Dimash has been taught that there is nothing in life, such as wealth or talent, that makes any person better than another person, and he gives everyone total respect. He has no capacity for greed, and his principles cannot be shaken; also he is incredibly humble and grateful. He values his talent, but only so he can give happiness and joy to others.
As a little child, Dimash studied not only music (from the age of 5) but also philosophy and very mature subjects. His parents made sure he had a very thorough and careful education, and also that he has had complete artistic freedom. They are perfect parents for him. It's like a magic combination.He was born with perfect pitch, and a passion for singing even as an infant. His favorite possession when he was 2-3, was a bag of old cassettes, and he had to have it with him at all times. When Mom was singing opera, Dad and Dimash (as tiny child) watched. Then, when it was time for her to take her bows, he would run up onto the stage and take bows alongside her. Of course, the audience loved it. And he learned to love the applause. He says that the stage is the place where he is the very most at home, the most sure of himself. Offstage, he is often quite shy (except when he's goofing off with his friends, some of whom are friends who he met in Chinese competition.) They became such close friends, they came back with him, or joined him later, and they now continue to sing in their own venues, but they go with Dimash to the concerts. His posse : )

The people in the audience are his grandparents. As in Kazakh tradition Dimash was raised by his paternal grandparents who he calls Mamma and Papa. He thought his parents were his aunt and uncle, until he was about 8… His parents are both professional singers. His Mom is an Opera singer and his Dad is a pop singer/producer (he produces many of Dimash’s performances). His Papa is a master Dombra player, which Dimash, his Dad and his young brother also play really well!
Dimash's dad, Kanat, put his own career on hold to travel and look after Dimash. He is Dimash's manager - that's why he is almost always with him. His grandparents also sing and I did see recently that his maternal grandma was also an opera singer. Dimash has worked incredibly hard too hone his unrivalled talent but he also won the genetic lottery!

Yes those are his parents. Papa wrote this song as a gift to Mama! Mama is belle of opera, very popular. Father composes and produces music for same opera. Dimash used to go on stage, at age 2 or 3, when Mama was taking her bows after an opera, and he would take his bows with her, and everyone would love to see this sweet little boy there with his MOmmy. He says that because of this, the stage is his most favorite place, and he is always at ease there. He has a younger sister, Raushan, who also has a lovely voice (and is a very beautiful girl), and a younger brother who plays the dhombra (traditional Kazakh instrument.)

I think I wrote you long time ago that his mother is an opera singer and his dad singer and producer. His mother was on a same University, and some teachers than taught Dimash how to sing as well. She married young when still studying and his grandmother ( next to his grandfather on his right sight) retired on age of 42 to take care of Dimash. She has taken him to voice teachers since he was 5 years old, and even they moved in Astana while Dimash was on University . They live in Aktobe all together. His grandparents are in music filed as well. So he is raised in musical family, gentle caring and loving. He never miss the oportunity to thank his parens and grandparents for what they have done for him. And he always mention his voice teachers, how they helped him to become what he is now. Very , very humble young man. And very grateful which is so rare now days . That is why so many people love him even more, than just for his voice.
P.S. Yes you can search more about him. There are many interviews with his grandmother, his mother.... With English subtitles.. Good luck in discovering his life, not just singing :)))
It’s was there grand ma who were crying ! They were sitting infront ! Grandma loves Dimash very much , and raise him up. Dimash love her grandma very much . She had pain problem in her legs every time she walks , but still never give up taking Dimash to the music school since he was 4 or 5

Father - Kanat Kudaibergenuly Aitbayev, mother Svetlana Aitbayeva .Dimash's Grandpa- name is Kudaibergen. Dimash name is Dinmukhamed Kanatuly Kudaibergen. Kanatuly for Papa ( Kanat ) and surname Kudaibergen for Grandpa. Its a Kazah tradition :) Diimash is very tall - 1,91m ( 6'3 ) ! Sister Raushan ( 18 ) , brother Abilmansur ( 12 -14 ? )

Mama Sveta - professional opera singer, Father Kanat - singer but mainly music producer - both of them well established and respected in Kazakhstan. Dimash was kneeling down to sing for his grandmother and grandfather who raised him. He calls them Mama and Papa. :) Dimash also has a sister Raushan who sings as well and brother Mansur who plays dombra on Dimash´s concerts. They are just very special family - not only talented but also with a noble character.

Thanks for more Dimash reactions. I've gone through your Dimash list and it seems that you haven't reacted to all Singer episodes. It's a MJ medley where he sings with a great Chinese, female singer. And his last song in Singer 2017. "Give me love" (it's not "Give me your love"). It's a beautiful song which always is at his concert set list. I also suggest that you will react to Daybreak from Gloria Wu's channel. It has the background storie and also Dimash backstage before the performense. He was sick at that time, but I think it is a better version than the Bastau version. Maybe not technically, but for sure emotionally. Thank you ❤️
His grand-parents were crying there...Dimash has got a very beautiful family that always supported him...his father made the video "My beauty" when Dimash was 17 and used to sing with his school band...now his parents follow him in his travels for his concerts...it is a marvellous family!
