I'm currently waiting for this on the Nintendo Switch and I'm loving the character creation! This game also reminds me of the Disney's Magical World series of games which is the main reason why I'm getting this.🥰

@@Kuriie yeah that’s really a nice feature this generation. I never bought a Xbox before now but I couldn’t deny the great value of gamepass. Also the series S is a great value too for someone that’s not super rich either. I already watched this like twice I can’t believe how detailed the options are. They literally have my hairstyle in the game, now the real question will I’ll be actual me or become Princess Stephanie which has a nice ring to it.
I was a bit on the fence about this game but 5 minutes into watching your video I was sold. 🤗 thank you for showing the customization of the character👍
I love how you can have a Girl with a beard and mustache, gave my character stubble .
Honestly, my only real complaint in the character creator is with how things are sorted. There aren't that many male haircuts and the ones they have are mostly gender neutral, which is fine, but they have like 100 that are clearly made for female characters specifically and the fact they're all just randomly mixed together makes it's very impractical to find a hair style you like. Most games with non gender locked hairs would have either have them sorted by Female, Neutral, Male, or just sorted by length, and generally have the weird/fun hairs all the way at the end or beginning. This game just throws their stuff wherever they want with little to no pattern. The same applies for the clothing as well. You'd think when you have 15 different crop top designs you'd put them all together but they're just mixed in with all the tees, long sleeves, and tanks. I'll give them that they did put the button up clothing all in a row, and polos and the medieval stringed shirt are close enough, but then you have "athletic shirt" which is a plain white tee shirt, right in the middle and a little further down you have 2 more tee shirt designs. I just think a game with enough focus on fashion to have the whole demo be a character creator, they should at the very least be able to sort their character creation options with some sort of logic.
Yeah hopefully they will make the organization a bit better. Even the backpacks, which didn't have many of them, were kinda wonky in their organization.
There not going to, Disney pretends male and female isn't a thing anymore and that there are infinite amount of genders. That's actually why I came to this video I want to see how messed up the character creator was and wanted to see for body type if they actually wrote "male" and "female". They didn't and won't because they don't "believe" two genders is a thing.

Also they don’t have really long hair like Pocahontas Jasmine and thats sucks
I can’t wait to test out the character customization! Personally I won’t be trying to make myself in the game cause it just feels a little weird to me so I’m being making a random character probably. I love how they added different skin tones and body types!

BNL is a large corporation seen in a lot of Pixar movies honestly but Primarily known from Wall-E But like if you see batteries in toy story it’s a bnl battery Pretty sure there are BNL billboards and cars it’s all over the place

Maybe I'm just being silly and missing it, but when making my character I did not get the wardrobe option when I clicked ready? :( Do you not get the option to change clothes unless you buy a founders pack?

Originally I picked one from the game and I'm a guy and my son helped me choose the skin and characteristics. But they don't seem to have a good variety of boys clothes on game. So Im thinking of making a female. Do you know if I'll be able to change between the characters? Or will I have to use the one skin once I create one fr this

I have a lot of blue on but designed my own shirt with motifs and a hat too. I love the thorny stuff that unlocks, I have the thorny wings on. I need to watch what shirts and boots I find too. I hate thinking of Firefly and Star Wars as Disney u inverses but totally love rocking a Zoe style outfit or a long brown coat. I’ve done several Firefly costume looks in Animal Crossing. I’d also go for a Hawaiian shirt and dark pants cause Wash is my boy. We need a Jedi robe too please.

I just got the 30$ one on Switch and we don't have them either! I'm so mad. I don't know if they took them out of the game or if they get unlocked later somehow? I would definitely not think that's something they would just take out completely!
One of them was a wig in the store that you can buy. Maybe the others will be too.

So this was the character builder they released before the game, they removed most of the stuff in it and unless you saved the character (which I also didn’t) you have to start with a smaller selection

i experienced the same lack of hairstyles on my switch, and no initial clothing options. apparently you can create your avatar on the free demo character creator on Steam, and then transfer it to another platform. it worked for me
I'm sad because I just got the game but when creating my avatar for the first time I do not have a wardrobe option at all, i have to have the beginning clothes of just jeans and a dress shirt:(
Yeah unfortunately this was the pre-release option, and I had to do the same thing and unlock them all within game :'(

I’m not sure if it located in the Xbox console. I know it’s planning to be released on there but if the demo is there, I’ll try to look into!

@@jessicalowex84 I figured out that it’s the create a character demo on the computer!!! I was able to start over and do it that way. It sucks how little information is out there for people starting out but hopefully that helps :)

Unfortunately this was the previous version where it was just a character creator. When the full game came out, it overwrote the old game and you have to unlock them. It happened to me too :(
@@Kuriie I restarted my game to figure it out well I did a little digging YOU can actually get an Epic account and download the Creator there!!! That's still free once you create the character you may import the code to the game ^_^

@@alexisholley3499 YES! I picked the pretty hair, rose earrings and necklace and just a random outfit because I the one I had I knew how to find again & I chose different shoes & rings! :D So Happy it worked

This was before the early access they gave us a character creator, unless you saved your avatar code to keep it, they removed a lot of them to make them unlockable in the actual game

This was for the avatar maker before the game went out. Unless you saved your character and copied the code you have to unlock the rest of the hairs in the actual game.
How did you get all the options??? I don’t have any on my steam but I own the deluxe.
This was the Avatar builder before the game came out. Unfortunately none of my characters saved because the game overwrites the avatar creator.

Same, I would get their stuff again if they at least kept giving us (good) openly queer characters. Actually-chubby avatar creation would be great, too.
Yeah, luckily besides in optional game purchases the game is actually free. So it doesn’t hurt to give it a try and see how you like it!
They have more amount of body types than I thought they were. I was worried about them making the women extremely skinny waste and exaggerated but I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of inclusive things for the character creation. Hopefully they keep adding more with feedback :)
