Mecca, also spelled Makkah, is a city in the Hejazi region of Saudi Arabia. Its population in 2012 was 2 million, although visitors more than triple this number every year during the Ḥajj ("Pilgrimage"), held in the twelfth Muslim lunar month of Dhūl-Ḥijjah.
It is the birthplace of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a cave 3 km (2 mi) from Mecca was the site of Prophet Muhammad's first revelation of the Quran, and a pilgrimage to it, known as the Hajj, is obligatory for all able Muslims. Mecca is home to the Kaaba, one of Islam's holiest sites and the direction of Muslim prayer, and thus Mecca is regarded as the holiest city in Islam.

@ThatOneDude 6969 non muslims are banned to enter the city of mecca. But they can enter the city of medina but they can't go anywhere close to the holy mosque named (masjid nabvi) in medina. Non muslims cant even step foot inside the city of mecca.

Indian Hindu here, and I must say, beautiful video buddy! I've lived all my childhood in the Gulf, and I always knew my Muslim friends visited Makkah for Hajj/Umrah, but I've never heard any of them discussing the food there! So I never knew about what kind of food was available there! Now I realize that everything from the standard Arab/Turkish salads and soups to the good old aalu-paalak, daal-roti-pulao...you get everything in Mecca, which is awesome!
Those Kerala chefs were a little surprising though, leave aside the dosa-idli-vada-sambar etc (I didn't expect them to sell that in Mecca anyways lolz), they weren't offering even the Kerala-style fish/chicken/mutton curries with kappa (tapioca), appam, puttu or parotta. Well, I guess not too many people there would be acquainted with these delicacies, so okay!
