Přírodní rezervace Stvořidla
Přírodní rezervace Stvořidla se nachází zhruba v půlce toku mezi městy Světlá nad Sázavou a Ledeč nad Sázavou. Tato oblast je nejstarší přírodní rezervací na Havlíčkobrodsku, která byla založena v roce 1948 pro ochranu a zachování geomorfologicky významného úseku přirozeného toku řeky Sázavy a přilehlého okolí mezi vrchem Melechov a hřebenem kopce Žebrákov. Údolí se tu zužuje v hlubší rokli a řeka protéká korytem s mnoha balvany, přes které se místy líně převaluje, jinde při vyšším stavu vody bouří v peřejích, které patří k vodácky nejobtížnějším u nás. Řeka stovky balvanů ohladila do oblých tvarů a ty dnes dokreslují její malebnou tvář.
Stvořidla Nature Reserve
The Stvořidla Nature Reserve is located about halfway between the towns of Světlá nad Sázavou and Ledeč nad Sázavou. This area is the oldest nature reserve in the Havlíčkobrod region, which was established in 1948 to protect and preserve a geomorphologically significant section of the natural flow of the Sázava River and the surrounding area between the Melechov hill and the ridge of the Žebrákov hill. Here the valley narrows into a deeper gorge and the river flows through a channel with many boulders, over which it lazily rolls in places, in other places, at higher water levels, it crashes in rapids, which are among the most difficult to navigate in the country. The river has smoothed hundreds of boulders into rounded shapes, and today they illustrate its picturesque face.
