I presented a paper in the US in 2018, when I was enrolled in a Ph.D. program in India. The moment my flight was abt to land in Atlanta, I saw it. The beauty, the vast empty spaces, and the horizon as far as the eye could see. At that moment I knew, I wanted to spend my life in the US. This belief strenghtend during my 3 week stay in the US, visiting different states - Georgia, Florida, Tennessee. Since then I have been working hard to make that dream a reality. Its difficult. Academic standards in the US are far too high and my average training in India just cant catch up. Still, the dream lives on. I will get there. Untill then, this compilation, the image and the title are a reminder of what I have already achieved in making that dream a reality, and how much is still required of me.

I've finally come out of a dark hole in which I was for the past couple of years. My life fell apart and I tried to rebuild it. I'm able to go to work again, I learned to set boundaries in a way that I was not able to before. I started becoming more resilient than ever. I've finally reached my destination, a safe and happy home for myself.
My old student from a few years ago showed up to a game at my school and I got to tell her all the things I couldn't tell her as her teacher: how proud of her I am, how excited I am to see what she does with her life, etc. It felt like such a gift; to make it this far with my career.
This honestly came up at a perfect time...truly, after a lot of this year making me feel so unsafe and scared, this came up at perfect timing I stg when I needed a sign, I really needed this and I smiled so much seeing the title and description I don't comment or say enough but, truly, Thank you Odd Behavior, for being my all time favorite cope artist for a while and making such amazing music to keep myself in check and going, finding and following your music truly has been the bestest decision I've ever made ❤
Reminds me of biking my local neighborhood. If you are able I recommend taking a walk or a bike ride around your local area. It really your body to move around outside, and its just a vibe to experience the world as it is.

Not sure if this is near there per se, but it sure looks like it could be. 🌾 If you ever want to witness heaven on earth, I definitely recommend visiting the Draper/Abingdon/Shawsville areas of southwest Virginia as well as Fancy Gap on the VA-NC border. The summer and autumn sunsets often look just like this.
