HD by a mile. The Spirit Frankenstein does have the classic face but is too short and is essentially a static prop that leans forward. HD is “state of the art” with multiple Servo motors. The worst part for Spirit is that HD beat them to the punch by a year. Once HD released their model this past spring, Spirit should have put the brakes on theirs and developed a different Universal monster for a first release. Think: Creature from the Black Lagoon, Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, classic Wolf man, etc. This way, they could have at least made their product look original and “one-upped” HD. I am sure it is difficult for Spirit to compete with Home Depot and Lowe’s because of the massive budget that the big box stores have to spend, and they are likely fine with a smaller profit margin because they make money in so many other areas. However, Spirit is going to have to up their game to stay competitive.
The Home Depot Frankenstein's Monster actually looks much better in person to me than on the video. They both have pretty trashy clothes. A visit to a thrift store is a good idea. They need black suits. It will make a world of difference!
I wonder how long these props take to engineer and develop. They clearly developed the Spirit Halloween one before the Home Depot one was released. My guess is that they then realized it would pale in comparison (literally!) compared to the competition, and made it online-only and limited production. I almost feel bad for Spirit on this one - I at least feel bad for the artists and engineers that developed this product.
You pay the same price and one has blinking and moving eyes and a moving mouth and separate moving arms. And you choose an almost static prop? I would. Consider it if it was at least half the price. Now the way it's presented now. Spirit should be ashamed of themselves. 😅
For me personally Home Depot. Originally I thought he would be way more detailed looking at the video but overall is kind of lame. I thought he would have been a jumpscare with that hugs animation but it’s just really a rocking animation. He also looks way to bulky especially in the legs. The base May be better for spirit but it’s very obvious Home Depot’s will last way longer. The Home Depot one has amazing quality and from what I know is outdoor rated. His build is a lot better and will last. There is a local haunt that had Home Depot’s Frankenstein outdoor constantly on for the entire month of October. (I’m not kidding it was never turned off) and over the whole month of October running only the arms broke. Other than those not moving he was in perfect shape. That is saying we had crazy rains and winds all October. Overall Home Depot’s puts spirits Frankenstein in its place.
as cool as the home depot one is right, the Spirit one feels a hell of a lot more like Boris Karloff. It;s not a bad prop in the slightest it's just less advanced than Home Depot and I think that's okay.
I don’t like how spirits is a latex head but has no movement for the same price it’s not even worth it Home Depot’s is more movement and likes real and the the worst about the spirit one is the color of him I understand going for the retro but that’s not appealing like the colored Home Depot one Anyway great job on the video I was looking forward to this video and it was great
Home depots frankenstein with the head and clothing of spirits would literally be a perfect frankenstein animatronic. I love Home Depots frankenstein, but it doesn't look like boris, which is kinda dumb considering it is supposed to be licensed off the movie. Spirit's looks nice visually, but it is lacking in MANY places. I also wish it had a way better paintjob.
The Spirit one looks more like the original Frankenstein. But I like the HD one because of the eyes

Spirit halloween for the detail home depot for the animation

What happened to the other Frankenstein from Home Depot it’s eyes……..
the other one is just drunk
Somehow, I wasn't expecting the Spirit version to be SHORTER 🤣
Home Depot is just much better.
They’re actually tied for me at least look wise. Spirit has the classic look but Home Depot looks more updated 🎃👻
This is kind of a sad comparison
Ye of course HD on top. You should do a switch vid of these!
The one from Home Depot is definitely better in my opinion.
Yeah I agree The Home Depot is better in my opinion
Honestly, I think I prefer Spirit Halloween's. The head doesn't look so wonky like the Home Depots.

Next you should do a Lucky Bottoms and Lucky Liz comparison
Spirit gets points for design (they actually captured Boris Karloff's Frankenstein really well).
But imo Home Depot definitely wins here.
The next animatronic comparison should be Lucky Bottoms & Lucky Liz! 🤡🤡🤡🤡
It’s going to be good!
@@chillingpropsyup it will be!
The Home Depot is better in my opinion And the spirit Halloween was the worst in my opinion as well
I think Home Depot is better cause it’s more realistic.
SPIRIT HALLOWEEN FOREVER
I love Home Depot more
Vintage and servo 😉

The spirit Halloween is the best

Hi chilling props nice video
1k 1h 56 28
home depot 1 look more realistic 1
can you please do Lucky bottom and Lucky? Liz
Together
Absolutely! Videoing coming soon. 🤡🎃
The Home Depot one is way better than the Spirit Halloween one.
It think the Spirit Halloween one could of been good competition if the spirit one was like $230 or lower. The Home Depot is superior in my opinion
Lucky Liz and lucky bottoms soon?! 🎃
That’s going to be a good one!
Home Depot, Frankenstein monster
Nonononononononononononononono okay:)
Home depot 2024 frankenstein is better in my opinion
Home Depot is ugly
He’s supposed to be ugly
First
HD's better.
