- OOOOHHH MY! He fell first? Aaaccck!! From the very beginning he know Im Sol. I thought it was a very fulfilling fan experience for her but it was more than that for Seon-jae. It was him meeting his first and only love. My heart aches for him that it is only him who knows. I am quite curious if the changes she is doing as she time travels will result to a different future of Seon-jae.

It's been more than a month since 'Lovely Runner' ended, but I still can't get over it. So I decided to watch everyone's reactions here on TH-cam and still feel goosebumps and butterflies in my stomach, even though I've already rewatched it countless times. Hahaha🥰
It's the 7th time for me 🙈 I have rewatched this many times already but the way I feel when I watched it the first time is still strong. Don't know when I'll get over this drama but it's also okay if I don't 🤣

Little note: When Sol explains his situation with Seon-jae to Hyun-joo, she suggests that Sol become Seon-jae's "Ilchon". This term was used to refer to friends on Cyword, which was a Korean social network that was popular in the 2000s, which is where the story of Lovely Runner currently takes place. This social network then gradually fell into disuse with the advent of Facebook and Instagram and was then closed some time ago.
Yes, there was a twist, actually more than one, in this episode, we then learn that Seon-jae had a crush on Sol since high school, but that she was completely unaware of it. As a consequence, we therefore understand that Seon-jae already knew Sol about her since her phone call at the beginning of the first episode, when he met her on the street, on her bridge the night he died. Here, however, a crucial detail is discovered: a photo materializes in Seon-jae's apartment in which he and Sol are together and which wasn't there before. It can therefore be deduced that, in a situation similar to the drama Twinkling Watermelon, the actions of the 2022 Sol who returned to the body of her 2008 self have begun to modify the timeline and that photo is proof of this. However, there is another crucial detail: Sol's faded memories are emerging relating to her accident (which at the time we are in the story, has not yet happened) which took away the use of her legs, and that in this accident Seon-jae was present and that perhaps he tried to save her, but failed. This gives us the possibility to hypothesize that the original timeline scenario sees Seon-jae remaining in the shadows without telling Sol anything about what happened. This could also be related to her depression in the present. Anyway, everything will make sense later... However, it is never explained why there is this rule where if Sol says something related to the present (or future if you prefer) time freezes, as if it were an anti-cheat of a video game.
The episode, despite the first one, was a breath of joy, because apart from a couple of moments, it was a constant laugh in the way Sol ended up in embarrassing situations in front of Seon-jae, like the now iconic scene in which she accidentally sticks her fingers in his nose. As well as the scene in which she pretended to be an old shaman or when she tried to escape from the pool so as not to be discovered. You will probably have noticed it yourself, but the scene in which Seon-jae gives Sol a "lecture" while he is in detention is very reminiscent of the same scene in the film 20th Century Girl, in which Byeon Woo-seok always does something similar with Kim You-jung, who was also punished. Yes, there are several points of contact, I wonder if voluntary or completely random. Kim Tae-sung seems called to play one of the clichés of the bad boy, who fights, plays in a band and rides a motorcycle, seen many times; as I was saying, although this drama is undoubtedly beautiful, exciting and entertaining, it never risks anything and relies entirely on the usual plots that always work. As said, don't get me wrong, mine is not a severe criticism, because as said I was passionate and enjoyed it too, but it was with The Atypical Family, which aired at the same time for a while, that I had the real surprise of the season with a product that came out a little outside the box, proving more interesting. But anyway, going back to Kim Tae-sung, as we will later see, he, after Lee Hyun-joo, is my favorite character and his grin similar to a troll face makes me die of laughter, especially when he ends up arguing with Seon-jae on several occasions; this however, in my opinion, if I have to find a flaw, I think it was a bit of a waste of his character and that it could have been more impactful, but oh well...
I have to give credit to him anyway, the choice of songs for this drama are undoubtedly winning, because they alone make up at least 50% of the drama's success, they stay in your head and immerse you in the atmosphere.

With your comment, I think you have watched a lot of KDrama and it amazes me how you see many similarities from the other drama you've seen. I agree that this there are parts of the drama that left unanswered questions. For me, it was all thanks to the last episode, that is why it didn't matter to me anymore. All I care of is that Sunjae and Sol are both happy and alive in the end haha. Also, yes to the OSTs of this song. It really has a good vibe that I thought Sunjae is so fit to be an idol. Still, I enjoy reading your comments all the time, I get to know more information about the drama. Thanks for being here :>>
@@lykscamerareviews In reality, it is not that necessary for them to explain everything, as in this case relating to some rules of time travel: still returning to the quote, by me, several times, A Time Called You has many unexplained things relating to time travel. time, but it's not that important compared to the focus in the story; it's the same here. Furthermore, as you will then see/have already seen, this rule of freezing time if she says something related to the future/present, will become a moment of particular hilarity when Sol does a certain thing.

In the end I agree with you on everything you said regarding the drama in question. Yes, I watch a lot of dramas, I try to recover some from the more or less recent past and keep up with the seasonal ones, at least the ones that stimulate me the most.
