So what's the cost of a new spool for the solenoid?

How often should the solenoid be serviced? Is this an "only as needed" situation?

Agreed, what's the recommended service interval?

@@packet-burner i would say every 1-2 years but not necessary if you play in clean dry conditions.

Sort of stinks that it is not serviceable in the sense of replacing orings, seals, gaskets, and springs... so much as it is that you can buy replacement for its various parts. I guess the idea is that these smaller assembles can be mass produced easier than one complete unit?

Agreed idk why they arent user replaceable orings, I mean jack wouldnt this be user grease-able rather than user serviceable so to speak?

@@mikesheber2205 Yea not gonna lie, love my new LV1.6, but was really hoping the entire gun was servicable in the since of fixing it with a parts kit or something. Like do they plan on selling solenoid rebuild kits for instance? I want to get a bunch of spare parts before they stop getting produced like everything else in paintball history haha

the lv 1.1's manifold is made of plastic and this lv 1.6 has a metal manifold like previous egos...kind of sucks since I had to order a new manifold since the previous owner tighten it too much and cracked it.

@@codyman117 because PE mods say so? Have you compared Them Side by Side? i don' t want to shell out money for another unservicable noid. This can cause a headache, Thanks PE. Not gonna buy a New Marker. No Wonder the Sport is dying.

@@andriypohors2538 It's been stated many times that the new solenoid will not work with the older guns. Straight from PE, straight from the guy who designed the thing. They aren't doing this just to make the old guns obsolete, for the most part the old guns should continue working just fine for quite a long time. They were never happy with the old solenoid and refused to continue making a gun using it. But the demand for EGO's still exists so they found a way to bring it back to life.
You don't have to buy a new marker. Keep your old one. It's going to work fine for a long time and if the solenoid goes there are still replacements available.
