Thanks - you have made my wife feel a whole lot better as she echoes your words and her language is just as strong ! We are thinking of the rubbish bin !
Been through 3 of these machines, keeps breaking needles and snapping the thread. Going to try another brand.😢 Been using an old manual Singer machine for 20 years, got it from my mum, she had it for 40 years. They don't make them as they used too.
I bought myself an Empisal a week ago, wish I had seen your video before then! I'm a beginner too and 1st thing that happened when I was finally ready to start sewing, the bobbin thread jammed! You gave me a good laugh though!! We'll suffer through it together!
I love sewing machine problems! But for someone new to sewing, starting with a bobbin holder and pulling the thread through… I feel for you. Sometimes, a good ol’ swear word is the only thing to sum up how you feel about thing getting off to a crap start, when you’re rearing to go. YOUR channel, YOUR outlet for opinions. People - suck it up. Ari, if you seek advice, let me know.
I started sewing when I was a little girl. Made my own clothes when I was young. Had this machine for close to 10 years but only decided recently to start again - at the ripe age of 58 - and it is just frustration. So glad to hear someone else does not like it either, it makes you feel useless.
Well is was free and can somewhat learn from it even if it frutrate the hell out of you look for a setting that have nice stitches and learn from that how to sow i have the same problems thread brake or leave a crow nest underneath the cloth i do also struggle with that machine.. my 96 year old singer is so easy i looooove my singer you should consider getting one you'll love that machine
I have 1 too ,mine neva broke a single needle its been 3 years in use ,i suppose u are putting ur needle in wrongly or not screwing it tight enuff ,the machine does come with tools.
It's not so much the machine as the fact that you have no idea what you're doing. And if your teacher was also struggling with this machine and putting a needle in it, you need to fire them cause they also don't know that they're doing.
I'm a first time sewer. I got mine from my grandmother who passed away in July. It's an old empisal pacesetter 10. It's a great machine. As a first time user I think people in general are just stupid.
Can anyone here help me though... haha I understand the frustration..i have an old empisal though..but I want to learn. So my needle also broke, and I also struggled to put the needle in. Is there a specific needle that you must use for specific material? I have few needles that are rounded and some are a bit flat at some parts. How do you connect the two parts of cotton to start stitching? ( I received this machine from family and the tension thing had to be fixed-replaced.) So now how do I go from here? Pl help if you have a clue. 1: connecting the cotton on the bobbin and the cotton under needle. 2: tension? My cotton seemed tight?
I'm not crazy about my Empisal machine, but I don't want - and can't afford - to spend thousands and thousands on an Elna (which would be my ideal machine) at my stage of life (67).
I'm really sorry that your having so much trouble with your empisal but i have been doing some upholstery work and I needed some material stitched and I usually ask my neighbour an elderly woman who has the exact same empisal machine and she loads the cotton on that machine like a pro. she has done so much work for for which i've paid her. She works on her little empisal everyday so I suggest you speak to a pro for advice on those machines instead of complaining so much.
My partner also got me one as a Christmas present and at 1st worked well now I'm struggling for about a week now as for tread is on coming out right on the fabric I am so frustrated
Hi i get you had problems with your empisal at this current time.... But the swearing was not necessary. I am also having problems with my epirsal ees10 but you will not see me throwing a tantrum the way you just had in this video. Not cool.
Rather not post and give your Empisal to someone who actually might appreciate it. Wasted my time watching you rant on how you feel. We all get frustrated we dont need to watch you rant, thought it was a video to help change a needle not listen to you use vulgar language. Like seriously.Take a breathe.
Note to Empisal: DO NOT sell your sewing machines to MORONS who cannot simply install the needle to the machine. To the poster I recommend just sew by hand so you'll not be fraustrated. I hope you know how to thread a needle, yes?
Thanks - you have made my wife feel a whole lot better as she echoes your words and her language is just as strong ! We are thinking of the rubbish bin !
Thanks so much I was really struggling to get the needle in but I love mine

The older machines were brilliant. I learnt on my Grandma's one. Made my own clothes for years. But this one is frustrating me.
