anton mesmer , where we got the word mesmerize , claimed to be able to heal with magnets , then later with iron filings and magnets . he did all of these things to bang peoples wives and take their money . he got the money and the wives , they wanted to kill him but he just got exiled instead. this guy was around in the 1800s i think , and every couple of years they come out with a new magnet something that is just a mimic of mesmer all over again . like those stupid fucking bracelts a few years ago .

It would be great if we could have the effect of something like coffee without the need to grow it, since climate change is making it harder to grow coffee. There are ways to influence the brain, like TMS and tDCS, but most of these consumer products just don't work. Something like this will probably be the norm in the future.

Well, in the early 2000s people sold products with an air of new age. There would always be Enya in the back. Some cloth slowly moving in the wind. A lady would show up and talk about Chi, sell you a magnetic bracelet, and ask you to buy their bottled herbal tea. You know, like Goop but less in your genitals.
But thanks to Steve Jobs types, that all changed post 2010. TED talks are now the stage for bullshit like this.
Are you too stupid to understand your feelings or technology? Boy we got a product for you!
What else do people stare at in awe with no useful brain activity? Quantum physics. That's what's coming up next isn't it?
A bracelet which entangles photons from the other side of the Universe can bring you new positive messages. The commercial will definitely have Dr. Quantum in it too but FIRST! They are going to mention "quantum supremacy" Google and IBM are after to steer you in from the tech world. You don't understand any of it anyways. Just buy my expensive magnet, wear it and smile.

They've booked anyone who pays the fee to present their work, and the audience is only the others whom are presenting before n afterwards. Double down on the b.s.. they're booking any space that's cheapest to do so, so it's probably the local library space or similar.
