I spent most of my Carnival season 2023 looking back at past soca artists videos.. This tune right here is without doubt one of the greatest soca tunes.. Think he dropped this the year after Brian Lara broke the test cricket batting highest score the first time... This song just fused with the emotional high that the country was already on.. Created a frenzy at each venue he performed. I always wonder as to the emotions the Brian Lara must have felt when he heard this song especially the part where he repeated his name .... And this is not even the best version of the sound... The studio version can literally give you goosebumps......
I love watching these live videos. You can feel that on that night, there was no other event anywhere close with the vibes heavy as this. Love the fence climbers too. The vibes is making you feel so nice to climb and get on, climb my friend! Bless
I still feel that Superblue got robbed by Ronnie McIntosh. Supah should`ve and could`ve got the crown. Way better performance than Ronnie....PERIOD!!!!
