Chennedy is a really good player. She’s had problems but I think the CC thing was overblown because CC had been sainted by new fans. Phoenix would be smart to take her especially if Griner leaves.
I like HVL but her at the #3 would be nuts. They better get Sonia. It looks like Vandersloot will be signed to run the point. I agree that letting Chennedy go was a bad fumble.
Nice assessment I do agree although with Chicago she wouldn’t work there. But Vegas would because of the vets already on the team. They would keep her in check
sidenote i know at the time they were young/finding themselves but when you look at the derek fisher roster....you can never say he didn't have the talent/names...but he also fumbled with gray and cp3 ...so yea he was going to fumble that roster
i also believe chicago should pick back up the phone and bring chenn back ....especially with sykes saying she likes playing with carter....you literally could get a 2 for 1 deal with sykes and carter coming to chicago
Now, the layup issue, I know dam well Chennedy didn't create that chart, but I don't think taking shots is cute. I'm like you. I feel bad for anyone who takes the chance on Chicago; it's a fabulous city but a sorry organization. I pray she goes to the ACES and coaches T-Spoon, too; they would for sure be fun to watch and would certainly be able to compete for a title. To be honest, I'm glad both of them are away from that snake pit. Men like Jeff are the reason why this entire nation is in decline: ruthless, arrogant, mediocre to a fault with power, committed to the abuse of black women on all levels is a deadly combination, at least for the black women involved. Don't be shocked when he burns Angel Reese because if he remains in that organization or that ownership stays intact, I expect it to happen. But hey, I'd be all for changing the color of the SKY if he thinks whitewashing the product would produce better results, go for it!
Chennedy Carter with a guaranteed contract was asked not to report to training camp, she was paid for a full season of not playing. Just a scapegoat? I rather doubt it.
If chennedy leave sky they going to have to pick up somebody that's reaches her pts per game and her offense and defensive skills because i don't think jewell loyd is going to the sky i think she's going to aces because plum is leaving them and there thinking about joining jewell loyd to there squad the aces,
@audriwilliams7943 Feel like the Sky desperately need offense. Nobody on the Sky can create their own shot rn. Citron is good, but she isn't really an offensive player/threat.
No one says she is a victim of circumstances, but you don't have to act like she didn't produce. You know dam well that men like Jeff are masters at covering their weaknesses by scapegoating those with talent. Their talentless behinds do it in every corporation and every industry. Look at Jeff's background he is a smoocher because he doesn't have a basketball background to justify his GM position. But, like they say, it's not what you know, it's who you know, and the only reason he is in basketball is because of who he knows and how he knows them. You can't fix a dysfunctional organization using the same pieces.
@politicallil7060 I said nothing about her production. I said, acting like she is innocent is a false narrative. Jeff was already with the team in a different role. Too me he done an OK job so far so I'll see what this roster will look like before I say he doesn't know what he's doing.
Dont't know what went on off court but Carter had behavioral problems last year on the court, purposefully blindsiding Clark with the body slam and purposefully slapping Mabrey in the face during their first matchup after Mabrey went to Connecticut. Carter may or may not have been the reason Mabrey asked to be traded but I doubt many other players want Carter as a teammate until Carter matures a bit more. If i were a GM or coach, I would not want this person either. Shouldn't Carter be given another chance? Unfortunately, the league office itself doesn't even bother to discipline these things with hefty fines and suspensions so the idea that a detterant against such behavior now exists and that discipline to promote behavioral improvement has occured lacks evidence.
@DeDon201 You didn't see that game or the highlight? Chennedy Carter blindsided body slammed Caitlin Clark to the floor for no apparent reason but jealousy or hazing rookies, either way an unprovoked assault. Clark was diplomatic and didn't say much about it except "it wasn't a basketball move."
@@OriginalJohnDoeFakersBewarelol she did not body slam Clark .. she bumped Clark’s shoulder with her shoulder and then Clark fail to the ground. Reese was thrown to the ground by her neck by Thomas from the suns and her fans told her to get up and play ball. Stop babysitting Clark or she’s never gonna get the respect from the vets. This is basketball… not a game of friendly uno.
100% agree, A team will get way better because Chennedy Carter
All i know is Chicago better not take Citron! She deserve better.
Chennedy Carter is one of the best player in the Wnba, TOP 5. She's a little out there but could be tame with a good people surrounding her.

Great assessment

I think could get HVL with the 10th pick, but I agree they should get Sonia at #3

Great point. Who knows how much they could’ve won if the talent was used properly
i also believe chicago should pick back up the phone and bring chenn back ....especially with sykes saying she likes playing with carter....you literally could get a 2 for 1 deal with sykes and carter coming to chicago
*Man I'm glad I clicked on this video*
The Aces are the classiest team in the W. They shouldn’t go anywhere near Carter.

You taking Citron and Hailey Van Lith over Aziaha James if you're Chicago? People sleeping.
Citron yes, HVL no...
@audriwilliams7943 Feel like the Sky desperately need offense. Nobody on the Sky can create their own shot rn. Citron is good, but she isn't really an offensive player/threat.
I would take Aziaha over HVL too, but this the same organization that drafted Katie Lou over Napheesa Collier
This is a horrible take. Acting like she was just a victim of circumstance is ignorant
I never said she was fully blameless. I just think the situations are overblown. What Chennedy has done would be a non story in the WNBA.

wait, say what? CC (the big one, not the little one) body slammed CC (the little one)????
