- Mudryk so far has been really bad in taking on opponents, his succesful dribbling stats are the lowest in the league for any attacker, and his lack of flair is quite noticeable for an attacker for his price tag and his position.
Regardless, do you think he could improve ?

The main problem of him rn is the first touch which is a talent that is hard to improve via practice. Also his mentality is always to rush which increases his dribbling error. Mitoma, Saka are not extremely quick players but they beat defenders via rhythm and observation.
True, also its useless to dribble if you have no vision on how you will execute the ball.
chelsea is really bad at making a space for their player to make a run too, he often find himself in the middle of bunch defender.

I think his problem is that he came from a league much lower than the premier league and he needs to adapt to the intensity of the premier league, I think it's still part of his development, and another thing is the high price he was bought maybe it will generate in him extra pressure to solve chelsea's problems on the field and maybe that's getting in his way

PL teams are set up tactically very well, you’re almost never getting 1-v-1’s for your wingers unless you play on the counter attack. This isn’t the Ukranian league.

The problem with Mudryk is that he is always looking for the flashy pass, goal or dribble, not the effective one. Premier league is a strategic league, the flashy things came for the team work.

With a 16% successful dribbles so far this season, Mudryk ranks is in the 24 percentile in the PL, what does that mean ? He’s better than ONLY 24% of the 534 players in the Premier League at dribbling (including DEFENDERS and GOALKEEPERS), where as for example Mitoma ranks in the 99 percentile.
I understand you’re a Chelsea fan, but if you’re not willing to be critical of you own players flaws, nothing will ever change. Mudryk is still young, he can still improve, but his problems have to be recognized first. In my opinion, i like mudryk and i think he hzs a bright future ahead of him, BUT i think he needs to work as hard as he can to match his speed with his dribbling creativity in order to reach that.
