They are just “ naam k Shia “ I think. When a bride gives ijazat to a Molana to be her “wakeel “ for conducting her Nikah, it’s the Shia way. ( here bride ijazat to her Mamu Aslam Khan to conduct her Nikah).
They were yusufzai but a couple of hundred years ago , they changed their family tree and became zaidi sadaat and changed their sect to Shia
