My predictions: 1. All these games will be at the show. 2. All these games will be dated for THIS YEAR. 3. None of these games will release this year. 4. All these games will be at June 2025 showcase, and it will be Xbox's greatest showcase ever!!!!
I hope they can nail the tone of Perfect Dark. It’s so much more than just a name. That industrial sci fi mystery stuff is excellent. Also, they need to bring Grant Kirkhope back for the music.
I would bet on Persona 6 at TGS. The Switch 2 may well be fully public by then and it could be included in the format list which would certainly go down well in Japan given their playing habits.
A bit unrelated, but I hope any Perfect Dark announcement ends up with Switch getting the old one. I would prefer the Xbox redo, but even if it is N64 rom on NSO. Frame rate has to be better in 2024, I would hope.
Just a quick correction, it was said Lost Odyssey was playable on PC but this isnt true unless you mean through emulation. The only reason i know this is because i got super excited and looked it up. Lol Also, Constellation, hopefully you are not lost at sea.
I hope Perfect Dark still has some Blade Runner, X files, Ghost in The Shell, Cyberpunk inspiration, it was such a 90's game. I dont know what the 2020 version of X files is? We used to talk about every epp at school, was such a big show back then.
I think it's very interesting how you guys talked about Avowed. It's an Obsidian RPG, so I feel like people should have a lot more faith in it. "Competent" or "Not a major release" or "Just complimentary" and nobody would really care if it was moved... Ouch. Personally, I'm significantly more interested in Avowed than Indiana Jones, but I've never been an Indy fan. But with Avowed, I just think "when's the last time I didn't enjoy an Obsidian game?" and can't really think of any.
Obsidian makes fantastic games -- I love Pentiment. Avowed didn't have a fantastic showing earlier this year. It simply looked... fine. I'm confident the narrative will be strong... just a question if the rest will be match that quality. A high 70s MC is still "Good".
For MVG, constellation! I'm hoping to see Blue Dragon remaster/remake, MGS3 Delta gameplay, Silksong release date, and hopefully gameplay for Xbox's new first party IP. They've had more than enough time to cook. Looking forward to the show 🤞
Even though this episode was pretty long, it actually moved along very well with the two not spending too much time on each possible game but there just being A LOT of games to discuss.
(For MVG) constellation (and for nate) Bring us project Gotham, 1 vs. 100, blue dragon, hollow knight silk song release date, and call of duty on gamepass I'm genuinely so hyped for the potential of the creation kid, and am super hopeful on Avowed. It's a tough world, being a lover of Bethesda/Obsidian style games, because it doesn't feel like there are many other studios doing it like they do :( I'm excited for the showcase though, and have been eagerly awaiting your guys's predictions.

I like that Xbox is keeping the E3 spirit alive. People predicting all kinds of announcements. Jet Set Radio Dead Rising 3 Persona 6 FF16 - Xbox version Doom Silksong Plus all the others like Fable, Perfect Dark, Gears, Avowed, and more.
I feel like when it's been acknowledged that "every year we treat the Xbox Showcase as though it's gonna be their biggest and best showcase", it's time to start treating things with a little more skepticism. It feels like for Xbox...all the mistakes they make, all the wounds they self-inflict, all the ground they lose, and all the warning sirens going off...are treated like some sort of Xanatos Gambit that's going to somehow pay off for them in the end. I mean, I want Xbox to succeed and be on-par with PlayStation so that Sony doesn't own the high-end console space. But I think it's kinda silly to always wax poetic about their situation. They don't need to be coddled and encouraged with a pep talk like Xbox is an uwu smol bean birthday boy underdog. They have all the resources in the world. The tough pill to swallow is that Microsoft/Xbox, at no fault of the developers, kinda sucks at making games, which is no surprise when people have to leave every 18 months so Microsoft can scam regulations. And, they're overly focused on chasing weird, "infinite money" generating schemes like Game Pass that ultimately backfire on them once subs stagnate and dev costs balloon. These are their fundamental problems, and things aren't going to turn around for them unless they fix them (which they won't, they're committed to Game Pass). The tunnel they're heading down, once they lose their Big Three status, they'll just be somewhere between a B-tier publisher like EA or Embracer and a mediocre digital storefront like Epic Games Store.

What a great CONSTELLATION of game predictions! It's cool that you guys are so optimistic for XBOX. I think you're right in that they really have to show up and prove they're not out of the game. Generally I think XBOX presentations are a delight, and have been since before E3 died.
LMAO FF16 running better on the Series S/X is pure cope, it was designed for the PS5 through and through. If anything, the series S will absolutely hold that entire port back, not the PS5.
@@Shadowl SE aren't even good when it comes to ports to begin with, they usually half ass every port they do. The PC port for FF7R was incredibly lazy so yah, Sony provided genuine support for FF16 as it was stated by Yoshi P so the PS5 version is completely optimized for the platform and I expect it to be PS5 Pro ready as well.

These predictions are painting quite the constellation. Anyways, I doubt these are happen anytime soon (if ever), but a Banjo/Conquer resurgance & Brutal Legend 2 would make me go bananas. Even then, Gears 6 & Doom: The Dark Ages alone could win the show for me!

If that rumored Banjo Kazooie project somehow ends up showing up at this showcase, I'll take my dusty Series X out of the closet. I've been in silent protest and boycotting xbox games since they closed down Tango Gameworks, as stylized and fun games like Hi Fi Rush were what got me into gaming in the first place, and the news hit me hard. If they can show that they're still interested in providing more unique experiences that differ from the hyper realistic AAA projects that have saturated the market, that'd be a good step towards earning my trust back.
Constellation. Nice episode and I'd love Starfield to launch on PS sooner rather than later. It'd mean more Starfield content funding, but it won't be announced in this Showcase.

This is what Avowed needs to do. Take a year. Change the color scheme, make the combat less like elderscrollsnonline and add a 3rd person option.
