    I really like this guy,I find it very admirable that he made a point of emphasising the fact we could learn something & encouraging us to experiment,sometimes that's all it takes,well done good job dude!

    What a great presentation! Joel is so articulate and obviously intelligent but comes across like he is showing a buddy a few priceless tips! 10 out of 10!

    Total Greek. Oh my gosh. I can run a 12 channel analog mixer. This is like outer-space to me. Seriously, looks like you're piloting a shuttle. Kudos to the guys who can do that.

    Joel, You are my Sound God. Best mix of any metal show I've seen in the last 20 years. !!

    Nice! I was wondering about the screens, but it looks like you can make good use of them rather than being stuck with whatever shows up on them. Having waves on the right and console on left is good use of the screens. I dont know Midas at all. but Im learning! Thanks!

    Hi there. I've been using multirack for some time now on Digico desks and my MadiFace or Fireface but I will mix two 6000 capacity sold out shows in a month on a Pro6. Just found out yesterday about the possibility of getting the video out into the right screen. Great!! But! I don't get where you get the video output from in this video? Cause I have the same MBP without dual thunderbolt and no HDMI.

    • @iramccully7632
      @iramccully7632 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. It cannot. It is not a DAW.

    Interesting that he is using Multirack Native and not Soundgrid

    I would never use any effects from a laptop. Especialy inserts. The venue system I use has it all on board. Nice headroom on thease desks though

      Thats what i thought but then he is running into thunderbolt which is perfectly capable of deliverying around 2ms round trip latencys. Just as long as you dont get too crazy with the plugins you use and how many.
      Ive seen this done with the soundgrid server and that thinng just kicks it! tons of plugins and not a hitch.
      These systems are so expensive though but the results are incredible.
      had an engineer come in with soundrid and ran in through a midas m32. was the best sounding gig i ever heard through that board in that particular venue.
      One thing though, why7 use protools HD just for playback and recording.
