She is also the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. The only person to be voicing(singing voice) of 2 Disney princess... She is Mulan and Princess Jasmin... One of Philippines pride
Judy Kuhn (voice of Pocahontas) actually also voiced a second Disney princess. She voiced one of the 3 princesses featured in Mulan 2. It's not as well known as other classic Disney films, but Judy is definitely another person to voice more than one character. Just a fun fact :)

Lea is a multi-talented, world-class singer and actress and has received international awards (Olivier award, Tony award and many more recognitions). Lea Salonga has put the Philippines on the world map for musical theater and for Asia in general, having played major roles--Miss Saigon and Les Miz (the first for an Asian) in the West End and Broadway shows. She’s the first Asian stage actress to win a Tony award for best actress. She was the lead for miss Saigon and later went on to play eponine and fantine in les miserables. She’s a Broadway legend.
I highly recommend her version of "Don't Cry for me Argentina " you'll find her intensity in delivering the message of that song.

Great reaction guys,lea is the queen of the west end & broadway.I have seen many great singers on your channel but as yet I haven't come across you reacting to to the lady often referred to as the 'queen' where dimash is known as the king & that is S.Korea's SoHyang(she is the official voice of Moana in the dubbed korean version of the movie). There are many performances of between 2&7 yrs ago but during the pandemic she has been involved in a project called 'begin again korea' where a small group of singers & a couple of musicians went 'busking' in work places & public places in front of very small crowds & basically put on an acoustic set of a few songs at each venue. Obviously these performances are bang up to date. Sohyang,like lea,is a more mature woman,age 42yrs,although i'm sure that the pair of you,like the majority of other people who've seen her will probably find this fact hard to believe as I am sure that as she gets older she's actually looking younger. Please react to her performance of 'I will always love you' from 'begin again korea to get a taste of what she can do with little or no accompaniment & as live as any performance can be & then when you've been bitten by the sohyang bug,as I am certain you will be,I can suggest performances done live but with a full orchestra behind her. Seeing some of the singers you have reacted to & witnessed your enthusiasm for good music( & your knowledge on vocal technique) I am always surprised that she doesn't appear to have been recommended before. It seems a shame if you were to miss out the vocals of one of the best singers in the world,according to many vocal coaches & fellow musicians ( I actually think 'THE BEST' but I understand that is just a matter of my taste) keep up the good work guys,you are funny!!

You can even try watching her audition for her role in Miss Saigon. Oh, a bit of a clarification: she sang Reflection as it's played in Mulan, but she didn't do the voice acting for the role...same with A Whole New World.

Leah only did the singing voice of Mulan especifically in the Reflection song. She also did Princess Jasmin's singing voice in A Whole New World. She even sang it in the Oscars when the song was nominated.
