  • This was about an hour after the last of the snow, but winds continued to whip the snow around.
Schools all across the area had been closed already at this point. At 9:24 PM, the NWS in Grand Rapids issues a warning statement for the Winter Storm Warning, informing viewers that the warning remained in effect until 7 AM EST the next morning.
7 minutes later (seen in this video), the NWS puts out a statement saying that the warning has been cancelled. I don't recall seeing the NWS do that before... at least here.
The songs are (in order of appearance):
    1) "Beneath the Moonlit Sky" by Dave Koz
    2) "March (From Nutcracker Suite)" by David Arkenstone

I haven’t had a White Christmas since 2012 when 2 inches fell on Christmas Eve 2012.

Everyone knows that Michigan has the worst winters in the land and people from the south be like “we got a half millimeter of snow last night!!¡¡!!”

Well, that makes sense, obviously. So, you don't get a lot of snow if you live further south.

Id have to think so. Geographically, it is pretty far north.

Michigan is the third snowiest place in the country, it’s far north and we the Great Lakes to add moisture for snow
