Look at ronaldos teams, he always had Premium service by players like Kroos, Modric, Xabi Alonso, Di Maria, Benzema. Except for Real he always played for the strongest team in the league no questions asked and now at Juve? He doesn't have the quality service he received before and you can see his numbers dwindling. And where is that champions league he wanted to win for juve? And why did juve emberrasss themselves so hard in the past few weeks?
As opposed to Ronaldo Messi can actually carry a team as he does with Barca since Neymar left, you should also maybe look at some footage of messi when Iniesta and Xavi were still playing and you'd realize he still had an immense impact on buildup and dropped deep regularly despite two of the best midfielders ever occupying those spots, that alone renders the argument invalid. know who else can carry a team? Zlatan, just look at Milan since the restart.
Ronaldo is a primadonna with great goalscoeing ability, he doesn't control a game like Messi though and is nowhere near the player he is.

Jesus! Has words lost all its meaning now. I'm Messi's biggest fan and I may be biased but one thing I know for sure is, he isn't a complete player. How can you be a fan and not know this.
Liverpool Vs Barcelona Champions League we would have killed off Liverpool on the 2nd leg only if Messi had shot from his right foot inside the dbox but he decided to switch the ball back to his left foot which gave the defender time to get back and tackle him. Let's be real here, Messi himself does not believe in his right foot yet people think he has an okay right foot lol. And no coach worth his salt is gonna set up air ball team tactics for Messi to score with his head. While he also lacks so much in leadership and can't handle pressure and people's expectations, it rubs off into his teammates during important matches, imagine seeing your best player and Captain with his head down and shoulders dropping down when the team needs him the most.
I can't begin to tell you how many times I've seen him head down when the team is down by a goal or two, it infuriates me! swing both your arms up high and shout at the team, pump them up, motivate them or do something not put your head down. FFS! You're the captain! Not an emo boy that can't deal with the slightest hardship.
With that being said, No doubt his playmaking, dribbling, ball control and scoring are awesome but he lacks in other departments. To say he is complete is laughable and a lie to make him more than he is. Sorry but that's the hard truth

messi literally never had any big injury after he turned 21, the longest missed period he had between the age of 21 to 35 was that 2013-2014 season, he missed like 2-3 months of game time. but after that the most he missed was a match or two here and there, this is the most consistent forward in history of football. I would argue he never really has a peak after age 21, he perfect his dribbling during his youth years and he him self r extremely gifted on this front no training r really needed. during the 08-10 season he perfected his scoring, after that he just spend the rest perfecting his play making. he literally play at peak starting at age of 21 all the way to 33 before he left barcelona. his psg days r more of a playmaker as he was old with less stamina, not the same role as he played back in barcelona. the reason he score less goal and barcelona always find it self eliminated in ucl after 2015 wasn't really his fault, he still pretty much at peak but barcelona isn't. it has more to do with barcelona core squad aging out of existence. I would argue he literally drag barcelona after 2017 to a place where it doesn't belong. the midfield of barcelona was on a decline ever since 2012, after 2014 it literally finished. u can just look at spain record and u understand exactly why I said that, after xavi gone downhill spain is finished and so is barcelona. give him the same midfield he got from 2008 to 2012, he will be the same messi through out his entire career and arguably score even more goal then he has today. but despite all that, he still dominated scoring/passing/dribbling success standing tells u all u need to know why he is the goal. the world cup win last year just solidify that claim and shut all the haters up once and for all.

Weirdly Messi is underrated,if someone even got half of 102 goals and assist…JUST half, they would automatically be called the goat.
For example imagine if Sancho went ahead and got 50 goals and 20 assists in one season, people will automatically vote him ballon dor winner for the next decade but when Messi does it he’s “maybe the goat”
I know he’s rated very highly but I still think he’s underrated

In terms of goalscoring, the biggest difference between Messi and basically everyone else is that Messi can do all types of goalscoring consistently and often. He does long range, short range, poaching, solo efforts, free kicks, lobs, everything. He creates chances out of nowhere and scores goals out of nowhere, and that is a quality that no number can ever show you. Ronaldo has 800 or so goals, but very very rarely did he ever create a goal out of nowhere, and that says a lot.

So is Ronaldo's 2012/13 it was his purest goal scoring season if you watch the TH-cam video of Ronaldo's 450 goals at Real Madrid you'll see his goalscoring is pure and divided across all competitions with very few penalties unlike 2014-15, So yes he scored well in his previous 2 seasons scoring 7 hattricks in each season that season was really the prime of Ronaldo and his best year, especially from January to May so I'd like to see a vid of him in that season too, am not a Ronaldo fan nor am I a Messi fan I just love both of 'em.

If we based it off on per season and per year on just "Goalscoring"
    - In the year 2012 , he scored 91 goals in OFFICIAL MATCHES in a natural year, surpassing Gerd Muller and Pele
    - If we based it on the season 2011/12, he scored a whooping 73 goals
    - And if we based off golden boots , Messi has 6 whooping golden boots , his two lowest registers were 34 goals in 2010 and 2018. And his max been 50 goals in 2012
    - Also Messi have scored over 20 goals in La Liga for 12 STRAIGHT years
    - Messi lowest numbers where 23 goals in 2009 , 28 goals in 2014, 26 goals in 2016 , and 25 Goals in 2020. The only years where he did not reach 30+ Goals.
    - Adding to that, since 2009, Messi scores at least 40 goals + yearly in all competitions
    - One fact that people should add into this is "when does Messi score them". In the season 2018 , If i am not wrong most goals from Messi came when Barcelona was losing or in a tie. Scoring a goal while your team is losing or in an disadvantage, has more weight than scoring when your team is already winning 2-0.
