Oh gosh I played that 1970s ALL the time. My parents gave me a bunch of Tomy pocket games when I was 4-5, and I would bring a little bag of them to keep me busy when they went out with friends to restaurants or to play bridge. I was a gamer before video games, all ready when Pong ans Space Invaders came out. :)
I just bought a mint one of these off ebay less than a month ago (for $12). I used it so much, that the lever on the right gave out and had no more "spring" to launch the balls. So I popped it apart. The problem is, the small orange inner lever inside, above the launch lever, came off as I popped the game apart and I have no idea how it goes back on. So my game is apart right now and I can't reassemble it until I find instructions on how each part goes on, ugh! But at least I got the launch lever to spring again.
Love all your videos with these pocket games. I recently started collecting these again from eBay. Wondered if you had any tips for cleaning a sort of dingy clear front plastic on one of these. Yours are so clear and clean looking. Please let me know. If you have time.
I own the 1970s one! Git it in Canada when young and touring North America with parents.
Fabulous - spent hours playing it!

Made for the best bus rides to and from school. We all had them at the time.
I have the baseball one from the 70s. Got it as a kid and love it! Also have the basketball one, the fishing one, and more....
OMG!!! I remember this! I forgot about this thing.
I had it back then.
Swing, Batta Batta Batta!

I was looking for this one when I saw your last video. This is the one I owned and absolutely loved it
I played this game on family road trips.
Yours is much less "rusty" looking than mine. But I do agree the base advance mechanism's the best part of it.

I’m guessing just paper towels and glass cleaner or something

i see a lot more of the older one on ebay than the newer one
Anyone know where on eBay can I get that for $10? Only one I found goes for $81
Is it on Amazon
