      Facts.. Mansfield was super turned up especially by Roscoe's and had they hood sold up especially when the Marvin's Playboys Bysh was all clicked up and the area was mostly all black. Times changed and the streets ion that side are alot more calm and less killing which is a good thing..

    What’s up Alex, big fan of yours keep doing your thing. I’m a big Bone Thugs-n-Harmony fan .. I know they ain’t from l.a nor gang affiliated but apparently they stayed with Mansfield Crips while they came to l.a in 93 looking for a record deal. Any chance you can dig up info on any OG’s from the Mansfield hood that remembers them ? I’m intrigued to see if any one recalls Bone living in their hood etc

    I went to Vegas in January '89 when I got out of camp. Planted my flag there in June '89. There was a nice friendly little projects on Eastern/Owens and I was the first (and only really) cat in there going hard with the work. Closest hoods were Donna St. and ABM in NLV. Knew a bunch of those dudes. Where were you at Skipp? Who are some of the Vegas guys you remember? Butch Hall was a B Dog doing it real big. I think he got setup with 5 birds by the feds. Used to be a lot of crazy shit. Ricky Crocket was fuccin a fed chick they slid up under him. Lived with him and everything. Crazy times.

      I was in the pen with them 2 big dudes from Donna Street Dino and his little brother Parish that wasn't so little and Michael Perkins I had a fight with him right before I got out. I was cell mates with the top guy from the Herbert Gershwin Kingsmen Walter or something like that we were kool.. Big Steve and 100 other of his family members was in the pen deep. I was in the unit with KaBoobie from West Side Piru and a small little dude that could bench press 500 lbs even thou he weighed about 185lbs.. I forgot his name thou.. I basically kicked it with the LA crew Black Mike from the Jungles Earnest Hightower from Marvin Gangster and Redd from Mansfield my crime partner and a young pimp named Anthony. 1986 and 1987 thou

    Why did the Mansfield's turn gangsta instead of NH?

    • @streetgangs
      @streetgangs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      the Mansfields were heavily influenced by the Play Boy Gangsters in 1981 and they were close to the Marvins Gangsters too. There is no NH influence in that part of LA so it was a natural choice to make.

    Alonzo If a hood is a Hustler hood not a Crip hood and Blood hood hit up that's not disrespect. Where the fuck you get that from. Now if he crossed them out that's another story.

    • @streetgangs
      @streetgangs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Even thought the Mansfields were Hustlers, the were all Crip affiliated, they all said "Cuz" and were rivals with the School Yards when they were Hustlers. When Chuckie got killed they were still Hustlers, so it would be disrespectful for a perceived rivals to write their hood on the wall.
