Our city charges $10.00 to take large items like fridges and furniture items. Our scrap yards will take fridges, but won't give $$ for them. We had a good score yesterday. We had a call from the Amazon company. They replaced all the light fixtures in the building , and they used a fork lift to load our truck. 3 pallets full. Plus hubby bought a junk van for $50.0 . The cat alone was $160.00. I like those $600. Plus days!! But we're still in the hole $6,000 for our truck kicking the bucket. But it'll be better soon, hubby is booked solid for the next 3weeks on car repair jobs. If it snows, he'll be on call for snow removal . Our city is so petty, new law passed , you have 24 hours to get your sidewalks shoveled or you get fined.
Our guys cant take fridges - people put them out because they know someone will take them. Thats a great score on the Amazon building. Gotta love a good payday
