Quick car guy info dump on the G-Wagon: It was originally built for the German Army so it was meant to be a no nonsense offroader, just like the Jeep, Defender and Land Cruiser. However, over the years it has become primarily a lifestyle vehicle, especially in the US, so it has been softened and SUV-ified accordingly. The G63 AMG, which is the top trim and is the one shown in this video is particularly road-focused. Nevertheless it's still among the most capable off-road cars out there, even though people no longer perceive it as such. Honestly this video is a solid testament to how well-made and capable the G-Wagon still is

They (austrian factory that builds G-Wagon) still offer UN spec/Professional versions. But it's still stupidly expensive for such a base 4x4.
