  • June 17-18th 2021 just as the search for McLaughlin ramps up. May the rangers bring closure to his friends and family.
    Little is left to the imagination about this climb. If you wish to figure it out on your own (I can tell you its rewarding) please do not watch but consider subbing. Enjoy otherwise!

    Killer video. I like the fact that you could use radios. I summited the Grand in 1991 via Upper Exum. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

    What thickness rope would you recomend for the route? I generally use 9.1-9.4 would that be too thick or not thick enough?

    Outstanding video. I appreciate that you show the pro placement on the way up as well as the rappelling during the descent. How long was your rope?

    Are there any permanent pitches on the Owen Spalding or do you need your own?

    • @ianwhittaker4565
      @ianwhittaker4565  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, only our party and the French Canadian party. there were 6ish mutli person campsites on the lower saddle.

    What size cams did you end up using here?

      Cams .75-2inch and a set of stoppers is what I recommend for this route
