Im sorry dude. Sounds like my 2012 trying to get to lorretas to get my pro card. Bike blew up, my next ride i tore all the ligaments off my thumb, a month later i severely separated my shoulder, got back on the bike for 2 months and destroyed my shoulder, ac joint, and broke my collar bone in a couple places. Never was the same after that year and had to give up the dream unfortunately. Keep pushing Jeff! I wish i did.

Give us a heads up on what happened to the engine. Never look at it as bad luck as there's something to learn from it.

Same boat different troubles..except for shoulder surgery. 8 weeks out of mine and counting. Money problems and life issues are stacked as well. However, This too shall pass. Things seem to take care of themselves sometimes. Great content! Keep it up!

The riding videos are definitely sweet. But we need more tech and maintenance video's too! Also, if it's possible you should carry at least a few shirts and decals in the new van. We usually bump into you a couple times throughout the year locally and it would be WAY cooler for the kids to get some merch right from you rather than the internet. Love the videos sir.

man i feel for you brother, i love my ktms, i also love my yamahas, the ktms are expensive, i ride 2 stroke ktms now and i recently sold my 4 stroke ktms, for the exact reason you just experienced, if you ride a ktm 4t HARD the way you do and fast guys do, we break stuff and its very expensive, last ktm top end i had to do off of a grenade on a 450 cost 3200 bucks in parts only, i did labor myself. Rough gig. I moved away from their 4 strokes because they just dont last if you ride them hard. You can keep them from grenading but you spend a TON doing it with much more frequent refreshes than most other manufacturers. theyre great bikes, they just cost a lot to maintain on a privateer budget.

Would you ever be able to do a GoPro breakdown of where you are looking throughout the laps? I think that would be very helpful for a lot of people if possible.

My life got really bad and hard about a year ago everything was going wrong. I was upset money you know the stuff one day I decided to start thinking about everything that’s gone right instead of everything that’s gone wrong and it really helped me at least mentally feel better about stuff something to think about from time to time if that doesn’t help your mental health you got your B plan ride at least 10 hours a day and you will feel better
Get a ktm 250 smoker get the motor done up and the matty b vibe.more power can be made with the ktm motor

Here's some good advice. Quit trying to race. Get a career and then switch to trail riding. Then you'll have a chance of enjoying life when you are older. This is coming from a vet rider who only rides trails now. And enjoying it.
Jeff has more skill then any of us, why would he waste it on a boring career and trail riding. This last season has been bad but the up coming mx season is going to be his best yet.
$10 for a sticker is pretty reasonable man. I see tourist trap places selling them for more than that, all the time.
