Love love Jonny. What a guy. Finds good in all the dames. Falls in love easily and is always aware of his weakness for pretty ankles and saves himself from them at the last minute! What fun. Thanks
I've listened to many of these "Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar" stories with Bob Bailey on my local radio, but this has to be the most tragic of all that I have heard so far.
@@NickDBaker And the 1930's though the 1960's. There used to be some good radio programs from the early 1970's, but they quickly faded away. Go look up Jean Shepherd (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Shepherd).
I like the way a lot of the stories are from my part of the country the gulf coast and some are from all other parts of the country not just L A and New York
I think that is one reason why this show was so popular, as Johnny traveled the country, always mentioned local color of the area, always had a good word to say about the area. The nasty, ugly areas were always fictional.l And of course he always mentioned the CBS affiliate.
These vintage radio shows have held up very well over the decades. Bob Bailey is ageless. Love them! ❤️

Tall, gray haired and rugged. With that beautiful deep voice. Dan inspires my life long attraction to bad boys. Oh dear! ❤❤❤
WOW! Great story, and it has been waiting for me since I was 9 years old. ❤

That’s so cool how your radio station plays shows from the 60’s!

Not as graphic or raunchy as today's shows that's refreshing

Bob Bailey wears Johnny Dollar like a second skin. He's absolutely perfect in the role.
This is my favorite TYJD story. Terrible and sad, but Johnny is so kind to Dan and fell in love with Teresa. Sad.❤😢
I love this keep it up 👍
Thanks 🙏
Great show
This is s bit of an in-joke episode as the Valentine character name evokes Bob Bailey’s George Valentine character.
I have not listened to let George do it. Can you tell me about it I love YTJD. Will I enjoy George. Thanks
I’m not as versed in Let George Do It. Episodes are available on TH-cam
Didn't know that, thank you. Needed something to snap me out of that tragedy.
This one was exceptional.
Silencers, now they’re called suppressors and incouraged . i remember when Silencers were illegal. Boy how times have changed 😎
