Jungkook is that anime main character who is good at everything but never actively seeks attention or praise. With all that talent he somehow manages to also be an extremely humble and down-to-earth person. You can see it when he's on Vlive - that he's so down to earth and he wants everyone to know he's not perfect.

Jungkook is the backbone of bts’s vocals. His adlibs, runs and harmonization add so much to BTS songs it’s insane. He harmonises with all the members and his voice blends nicely while shining on its own. He’s main vocalist for a reason. He’s so hardworking and dedicated, such an amazing artist with a genuine love and passion for what he does. He has so much drive and ambition to always prove himself, always get better at everything he does

JK is literally the most humble person who puts so much effort into everything he does. Jimin often stays back to rehearse with JK even if he feels he doesn't need to himself which is just another instance of the members supporting each other. Our Korean’s National Main vocal Jungkook is our Korean’s pride! He became a trainee when he was 13 and he debuted 15. There’s no main vocal who can sing, dance and rap like Jungkook in the world. He’s not my bias wrecker. He’s my ultimate bias.

Ppl take him for granted because he's talented, but he works so hard to give the perfect performance he does. He’ll consider himself cool when he decides for himself that he’s cool. Suga of course looked bewildered. Others would think they’re awesome. Such high standards.
Jk said he felt small in the early years. It’s sad that he felt that way. If everyone is older than u and ur still a child of course u’ll feel that way. Jimin n V r 2 yrs older. It’s a big gap mentally n emotionally.

7:34 It is Ddaeng, but they switched the roles and the vocal line rapped during their 5th muster concert. The audience went crazy! JK rapped RM‘s verse and RM and Suga looked like proud parents 😄 For a JK rap compilation I recommend the one on the same channel by Ida S. She is the best when it comes to compilations and JK content. I also recommend the video “Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS“ on her channel to learn more about his position in BTS and to see how much he does in the background for BTS’s music.

Edit: 17:05 It is hilarious to see the affection BTS have for their youngest (and vice versa of course). I like to watch the member‘s faces when he does something extraordinary (as always) or when he speaks. They always look soooo proud. Suga stated many times that Jungkook is the most talented person he has ever seen, for example just recently on the Korean talk show “Let‘s BTS“ or Jin said he didn‘t believe that such talented people as JK exist until he saw JK 😅

i love that this video also explained at the end that he does work hard for it. Often in this fandom people will go,,, oh jungkook he is always great it’s so easy for him as expected no need to praise him. It’s what happens often and people take him being so talented or gifted for granted. So wow I never seen this video before actually but it’s such a good video and a good insight on his talents and gifts but also him as a person

Very much appreciate your comment on raise and fall of creative people! It‘s exactly the point, you always need to improve to satisfy your audience/fans. JK is pretty much aware of this challenge - and can we just mention, that he‘s just 24 years of age right NOW? So all the video content was produced BEFORE he got 24 - I mean, how wise, intelligent and talented he must be?? I hope so much, he will not suffer of depression or related problems in his future due to the pressure, he puts on himself. I love him.

Not only are we facing challenges externally but also internally. Despite working hard and pouring our heart out to our art and craft, it may not be enough to satisfy or impress people. It may not even be enough to even impress ourselves. Because of that, we start to question ourselves: "Is what we do still worth it?" "Am I not good enough at what I do?" Well, bts was an example of that from the very beginning, but now, they not only prove to the antis, but also prove to themselves. Honestly love your guys rambling Ted talks. I absolutely get the being hard on yourself, just the last week I finished up a year long project and I couldn’t enjoy any praise about it because I kept thinking of everything I’d wished I’d done better. JK and his hard work isn’t just in his dancing but it’s always learning and trying, drawing, exercise etc. he’s driven and he’s also such a sweet gentle soul. Great video.

Incase you didn't know, JK is actually a black belt in taekwondo. I can't remember exactly when he got it but I believe it was sometime before or during their debut period. Anyways, he got it really early in his life.
Debuted at 15, meaning they took to the stage for the first time, but he went to Seoul alone with no parents at the age of 13. He is and will always be Bangtan's precious son. They always point to him and say "that's my kid" with pride. They raised him.
