What a strong, courageous woman. I’ve heard so many stories of people dying halfway up the mountain and you definitely witnessed those. I’m so thankful you survived and succeeded Rebecca. We love you!

@@Bikelife_LXcan you read asshole? He said he heard so many storys of people dying halfway up the mountain and not most people died on theway up the mountain!! He didn't want to bring statistic in this conversation. He just wanted to make her a compliment on this achievement and say that he is glad that she survived. Mr. I know things better and tell everyone even if they didn't ask me.

Congratulations on 1 year from this incredible achievement and on this amazing documentary!🎉❤ Not many people talk about all the details and all the tiny little things that are needed when you are on the mountain and when you are summiting the highest peaks, but you did it, you shared so honestly and openly! About everything from pooping to relationships with people. Also, it is not spoken enough how much stronger mentally women are than men when put in all kinds of difficult and challenging situations, and you showed it! Thank you for following your dreams, for being such an amazing communicator and such a positive soul!

The body was Don Cash who summited in May 2019 where he passed out; his sherpas revived him, assisted him down to the Hillary Step, and they believe he had a heart-attack where he lies now. He had many friends apparently and was well-liked! He was from here in Salt Lake City where I live!
    Congratulations on your achievement!👌

Finally! a series of vlogs documenting the whole process. CONGRATS for successfully summitted the Everest!! I think it was a correct decision by your guide for not telling you that there are indeed bodies of people on the way to the peak. I may have not agreed to some of your sayings about life in this video as many have perished trying to do what you did. However, you are definitely a tough woman! If I may add, I think it is okay to admit that one may not make it to the top and need to realize their limit, because sometimes you need to be grateful for what you have not what you don't have (i.e summitting Everest).

Mount Everest has fascinated me since I was a child. I know that there is no way that I could make that climb - and congratulations to all who have been to the top of the world and shared it with all of us. We do need to respect her and make sure that we take the time to leave only footprints on this mountain - and realize how very dangerous it is and to heed the messages that it sends to us. Avalanches, earthquakes seem to say "Enough death has happened upon my slopes. I wish to be left alone so no more senseless deaths happen."

How could anyone possibly do an Everest climb and be surprised to see a dead person. I know many have been removed , which I don't necessarily agree with, because it puts more Sherpas lives at risk. The difficulty and danger factors in removing a body from the death zone is totally off the scale.

It’s safer to summit in the dark and descent during the daylight, plus, you can only be in the death zone for a certain amount of time without severe repercussions as the pressure of the oxygen is unable to sustain human life for I believe more than 16-20 hours.
