The two premium specialty dining reservations included in your plus package are for the Crown Grill and Sabatini’s Italian restaurant. The Boticelli, DaVinci, and Michelangelo are the 3 regular restaurants which are included for all meals (still make reservations ahead of time so you don’t have to wait in line). You don’t have to rely on the buffet for any of your meals. Also, the International Cafe (deck 5 in the Piazza near the art gallery) is also included for all passengers and is open 24 hours with a constant change of offerings; sandwiches, desserts, etc.. We just got off the Crown Princess a couple hours before you boarded. The food in the main 3 dining rooms is much better than the buffet.
Nice! Okay, I'm learning all this now haha still kinda new to the cruise dinner options. I went ahead and made reservations tonight for Michaelangelo's 😁
I know the “ Crown”, Ruby & Emerald are all sister ships. As I said earlier we went on Ruby twice, just returned on 2 week Hawaiian cruise this past Oct. 15th. This ship looks exactly like the Ruby! Love the ship. Next year we will be going on the Emerald. Great video! Thanks for sharing. The buffet is low quality for sure. We ate only in dining room and international Cafe for a quick bite!
@ We loved the Alaskan cruise, same ship Ruby princess. You don’t need excursions to see beauty, but if we go again we will take a train excursion or dog sled.
We were on the Crown Princess 3 times in the last 12 months. March/April 2023 for a 28 day Tahiti cruise. Oct 2023 for a CA coastal and earlier in Feb for a 5 day getaway. For afternoon snack, they have a Ramein station in the Horizon court at 3:30 along with a DIY burger station and scones. Be sure to try sit down afternoon tea when you get a chance. The scones are excellent! Ruby Princess will be coming back to home port in San Francisco in September while Crown Princess will redeploy and will be home ported in Australia. At that time, You can take a 31 day repositioning cruise, 1 way from San Francisco to Sydney!!
Wow! That's some good info! Thank you! I just tried the burger bar today in the buffet station. It was pretty good! It'll be in tomorrow's video. I was on a coastal cruise in October 2023! We may have been on the same one! I loved it! I definitely wanna do it again. I wish I could do the cruise to Sydney! One day, maybe I hope to do that. We'll see where this channel goes 😁
My first cruise was on Crown back in 2010. Loved it. I did another one in 2011 on Ruby and now my next one with Princess is on Sapphire on April 5 for a 32 days Hawaii and South Pacific. I so excited and can't wait. ⛴️😎
Whaaat! That's awesome!! I love the sapphire! That's my favorite ship out of all 4 of my cruises lol I miss that ship. You're going to have a lot of fun!
Thank you for taking us along on your cruise !! Thank you for the tip on the casino play. I will make sure to play on my next cruise. I don't cruise again until April 2025. We will be on the Ruby Princess, which is a sister ship to the Crown. We are doing a B2B from San Francisco.
Thank you for your videos! We’re doing the Hawaii Cruise on the Crown on 4/4. It will be our first on Crown and Hawaii so all your vids are extremely helpful in planning our trip. Have a blast and looking forward to your videos!
I'll try and record some of them. It was hard catching some of the shows because they played a lot of copy write music. I'll try recording some and talk over it. Thanks for watching so far!
Thanks for sharing your trip. I'll be on the Crown to Alaska in September. I just happened upon your channel this afternoon, and I'm going to check out your other posts. Continue to enjoy your trip.
Hey! Welcome to the channel! I booked an Alaska cruise in September of 2025. 11 day cruise. I may book more before hand, just depends on how work goes.
Thanks for the comment! Hey, if you can do it once a year, do it! I am planning on doing a cruise at least once a year myself. So much fun. So far, the weather is still pretty bad... should be better tonight 🤞
We were on the Crown for the Super Bowl. Had a blast watching it on MUTS. AND I got dinner at the buffet, prime rib no less! It was perfect! Sabatini’s is one of the specialty restaurants and I’ve heard it’s even better than the Crown Grill. -Joan in Lodi
Really fun to see your trip. I think Princess beds have the reputation of being some of the best of all the cruise ships! Hopefully after tomorrow your weather will start warming up and you'll be able to take advantage of the pools. I thought on this trip (from some other posts) there's an opportunity to learn to play the ukelele (sorry for spelling)... might be some other fun things like that you can take advantage of... On the other hand, a good book while you watch the waves go by works too (my fave!) :)
Omg they are so comfortable... its so hard to get up in the morning haha Yeah, from what I'm hearing, tomorrow should be a lot better. Haha you're fine with the spelling. I would have guessed it's spelled the same way lol I would have definitely loved the balcony and just relaxing on these sea days but the balcony has been anything but pleasant haha it's okay, it's only for a few days.
@@Eldons_Excursions This is a bucket list trip. Just hard to get 16 days off at once from work. What a great deal you got - seriously! I booked the repositioning cruise for end of April from Honolulu to Vancouver. Only stops in Kona for 2 days, and does a drive by the Napili coast on Kauai. Bummer it doesnt stop more places but we love the sea days. Im bad - actually hoping for at least a bit of bumpy seas going over to Vancouver. It's on RC's Quantum of the Seas. A bit of different vibe from crown princess, but love Crown (think it's sister ships with Grand and ruby?). Hopefully your balcony will open up for reading day after tomorrow (and not be so wet). Have fun and thx for sharing!!!! :) PS sad the buffet food isnt great.. All the buffets have gone downhill. We've been on Carnival recently and dont even attempt to eat in the buffet, so everything on RC will be better!!
@Lealelan yeah! I think Coral is the sister ship to this one, and Ruby, I was told, is the smaller one. I never thought I'd be on a 16-day cruise. At least not for a very, very long time lol. I got very lucky with this cruise offer. That trip from Honolulu to Vancouver sounds fun!! I'd love to do that. As for the buffet, sometimes you'll get lucky with some good foods. Today, they had a burger bar. It was actually pretty good, haha. Carnival never had that great of food. I always went and had guy fierri burger bar. It was always so good!
I was just on the Discovery Princess and the Churchill's cigar lounge right outside of Take 5 Lounge was closed on the first part of the trip and on the next cruise, they converted it to a Video Arcade which was pretty cool
@@Eldons_ExcursionsThe seas where rough for the entire trip. It was so bad on the return trip we had to hunker in port at Ensenada after being told that port had been cancelled due to rough seas/ incoming weather. We arrived there in the Morning and stayed (on ship) until 11:30pm. That's when the Captain decided to make a run for LA....Those were the roughest seas I've ever been on!
Thanks you! I'm trying 😁 Yeah, all these dinners are included. After 6, there isn't much of a wait time. Also, take advantage of trying different foods! You can order whatever you want when dining.
Thank you!! You can choose 2 specialty restaurants. Two of them are pretty much the same place (Italian/sea food), just slightly different layout. One steak house, and the wheelhouse. They have a really good burger!
The casual choices are the Gastro Pub, which is located in the Wheelhouse lounge, I believe it opens at 5 or 5:30 PM. The other is Vines, the wine bar. Only one offering there, Veggies with dip, a charcuterie board and really good chocolate truffles for dessert. The included specialty restaurants, Crown Grill and Sabatini's, are only if you have the Premiere package. For us, the $20 per day per person wasn't worth it so we stick with the Pus. Happy cruising!
@michaelcroom2601 Honestly, the buffet is okay. It's a hit and miss. What I did was kinda scoped it out and tried out things I thought would be good. Most of the time, I ate at one of the restaurants.
@michaelcroom2601 nice! The staff on the ship was so much fun. You're going to love it. Hope you're enjoying my series! I have another one from the same ship back in October. You might like that one as well.

We are thinking about booking a Princess Cruise to Hawaii March of 2026. I’m concerned about the sea days getting sea sick. How were the sea days on your trip?
It honestly wasn't bad. I got a little sea sick only one day tbh and that's because I was on my phone, on the bed, and didn't eat anything lol we were also avoiding a huge storm just north of us. The cruise back was absolutely amazing. So problems at all.
We went on 2 princess cruises 1 year apart on the Ruby, and both times the beds were both the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in!! That’s a fact 😊
