I am hoping to get out for an overnight here in northern Ontario. It started raining and it's +6C right now, but going way down -20 for the weekend. If it doesn't snow much, the waterways will be a great hiway. I got some big azz Arkel 48's for loading up shitloads of gear. I would rather do a short distance and enjoy the trip with a few more comforts.
@@Tylerbybike pannier is more for tradation touring compared to seatpost bag and frame bag and front fork bags and handle bar roll bag which is more bikepacking setup ie no racks
Ahh, gotcha! I think you could definitely do a non pannier setup. Just I love them for their simplicity in cold weather. Big openings that hold a lot of gear.
That tent is a great tent had the 25 over 30 years ago and still good to this day
Ya, I really love it!
Cool adventure buddy! Can’t wait to get out on another one with you soon.
Let’s do it!

@@TapioBlue amen to that dude! Those short trips are a lot of fun. Thanks for watching man.
Cool do you think you could do winter setup with a bikepacking setup rather than traditional panniers setup???
What do you mean by traditional? I use panniers because they are so big. They hold all the winter gear so well.
