      Need drives. As the ice melts earlier and freezes later polar bears with the ability to socialize their hunts during the starving months may be the only bears who survive global warming. And if they teach their cubs....well it would probably impact walrus colonies. Who are already impacted by no place to haul out. If we don't destroy the entire ecosystem in the next 100 year's maybe socialized bears will be the "New Bears". Just as solitary grizzly bears tolerate each other during salmon runs and sharks and whales and fur seals and sea lions will tolerate each other when sardines are running. Needs Drive

    • @Bikewithlove
      @Bikewithlove 4 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      debra biderman - Global warming is a hoax to create ponzi schemes. Life is brutal, and weather has always been unpredictable. News stations are doing the same thing those polar bears are doing - they’re predators and you’re their prey. They’ll say anything to you so that you’ll give up your labor and your rights while they count your cash in their mansions. Keep believing the sky is falling. I don’ buy any of it for a second.

      @wildlifeisthewealthofnatur5457 ปีที่แล้ว

      Walruses don't defend each other despite the huge size. Only exception is female walrus which will try to defend calf sometimes. Also, Polar bears themselves are 400-700kg so it's not a big deal. If single lion and tiger can charge at herd of buffaloes, then Polar bears can charge at Walrus. Besides, even sub adult Walrus is impossible to kill for any polar bear even if you think attacking hundreds of Walrus is a impressive feat.

Though in support of us humans, there are alot of great changes. Where we are now trying to undo the harm, we have made. In many areas around the world, so we are learning to appreciate. Reason that's not true, it's survival of the fittest in relation to different degrees of space. that's why there is such biodiversity which makes it seem like it's survival of the fit enough. the space a sloth occupies is totally different from the space a lion occupies for instance. there is a role, a space to be occupied that allows for the sloth to compete with other organisms, and the sloth is the fittest organism to occupy that role.

      Gloria I have the theory that sociability has to do with a form of intelligence.
      Reality is that no solitary can overcome large scale problems, so an intelligent being must employ help from others. That's why orcas are highly successful predators.
      Some animals are not gifted with that intelligence.
