Kim got a classical training as a soprano apparently in the last 10 years or so which could explain the sudden increase in ease up high. That being said, she could always go this high, it just wasn't really comfortable for her.

She’s always had crazy range. She just never used it. She’s called herself a lazy soprano 😂
