When you see Korean dancers who grew up in the states the physicality of their dance will have more in common with other westerners.

They filmed the mega crew performance during New Zealand’s winter which was really harsh and cold this year. Their feet must’ve been freezing by the end of the shoot 😭
Its nothing todo with physical bodies of westerners and koreans. There are enough skinny Asian who dances in the west with no prob. Stop using that excuse cause its not true. The 2 moves you learned from the us are outdated there is so much creativity out there.

I think the way the dancing is taught to them makes a huge difference as well. The Korean teams are very technical and precise whereas the JR (who I think are from new zeland?) dancing seems more natural and effortless. Which is why I wasn’t shocked when the Koreans couldn’t do certain moves JR had done.
To say JAM republic only dance well just because of their physical build is just plain rude. Bada Lee is considered ‘physically’ tall for a dancer. And ppl like to say that tall people are bad dancers, so why is Bada lee considered a top professional dancer in Korea? Isnt Bada Lee supposed to be BAD because “PHYSICALITY’? Bada Lee is where she is today because she is talented, skilled and hardworking dancer and NOT BECAUSE PHYSICALITY. The same goes for JAM republic, they are good because they are talented, skilled and hardworking dancers. I dont think its that hard to admit that. Those comment on physicality comes off as though, JAM Republic did not work for their status, they are just ‘born’ with it. Everyone is working hard for their dreams, but the spot for the top is far and few to accomodate everyone’s dream, just because they are at the top of the list does not mean they did not worked for it. Its a comment of someone who is a extreme sore loser, sorry to say that. i am not one of those ‘top’ players of the world for anything. But when someone is good at what they do, i say that they deserve the acknowledgement. Dancing is not a beauty contest.
It’s a Korean thing don’t even think about it too much. Koreans think foreigners are built stronger and different. They don’t take the time to learn that foreigners dance differently because they were taught how to dance another way

한국 댄서랑 해외댄서 기본기 차이가 많이 나요 신체 리듬 타기부터 연습이 제대로 되어있음
