I am a woman and a law student. I am actually intrigued in how attentive he was and his ability to communicate effectively. The fact that these women focused on superficial things such as his clothing and shoes showed me the reason why some women are single and can’t find a good man. I couldn’t believe that so many women thought like this. I am a southern woman from Alabama, the clothes don’t make the man.

Software Engineer here. When I was dating, I’d wear flashy shit. It’d attract all the wrong kind of ladies :(. They’d never ask what I did for a living or anything. They’d be more concerned with what I wore. A chain? A bracelet? Watch? Shoes? All of it. If I didn’t look like a gangster/rapper, they didn’t care.
Then I switched it up after I got a Mech E. and Software E. degree. I dressed how my colleagues did. In construction lookin ass clothes while in Mech E. Plain Tshirt and Jeans in Software E.
Not a single black lady would give me the time of day. One even told me “you thought you had a chance with me? Lookin all broke? Step off”. Even the very intelligent black ladies were like that. They love the block boys.
I never forgot that. I love black ladies. But after that, I straight up gave up.
I made $300K per year and have 2 degrees. They never found that out because they didn’t care enough to. Eventually found a mixed lady in the same field that didn’t care for all that stuff.
Take the bus and train on a date, instead of the car when dating. You’ll find out real quick who is interested in the materialistic things vs. who’s interested in character.

But, he wasn’t interested In gold diggers. So, he started dressing in jeans & t-shirts or button-down shirts and telling women that he was a sanitation worker. I'm getting some tricky vibs from this particular show. It's not unusual for them to pop their balloon because of his attire. It's part of every show.
However, I was wondering why he didn't see the need to dress to impress. After all, that's what they told the women to do.
Instead, from my perspective, I think he decided to flunt his credentials to impress them or to see if they would change their mind because of his financial status or possibilities.
These women had the right to choose no matter what their reasons were. Also, they had the option to give him another chance, but they didn't.
