This is based on (very shakey) evidence that the Zuni blood type, customs, etc are very different from the surrounding Native American tribes and resemble Japanese blood types and customs.

Knowing not only that this guy wasn't an actor but also that Trey and Matt didn't cast him based on his abilities he did freaking amazing in the film.
