The most disappointing thing to me is that I'll never hear the original OR another cover without judging it against this PMJ/Hailey Platinum standard.

Just this week a young lady by the name of Elly-May Barnes, daughter of Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes, released a cover of this. Now, her backstory is relevant here. She has mild cerebral palsy and struggles with walking and standing for long periods and uses a glittery cane for stability. Her version brings new meaning to the song. Love to know what you think of it.

The loons who refer reactors to Mad World are literally unhinged. There is nothing remotely extraordinary about either one of their vocals in that music video. The performance is semi amusing, but about half the public not only fears clowns, they also hates clowns. Some of you loons just literally blow my mind.

LOVE this cover so much! Second best cover of all time according the Gossebump getting scale. Only bad thing about this song is it's too good and the rest of her catalog just doesn't hit the same. It's not bad, she's an amazing singer. This cover is a once in a lifetime arrangement and combo that with Haley's super human vocal talent makes for the near perfect song. Goosebump hunters lookout. Disturbed's cover of S&G's The Sound of Silence is tops on best cover songs of all time. This one is a close second though. Who cares about third?
