I was there at the top of Hive's popularity and I was also there when the Java server had to close in 2021. So many memories throughout the years. It warms my heart to see Hive performing this good on Bedrock. Mineplex, Lifeboat and CubeCraft, great rivalry as always.
Meanwhile, Hypixel is just built different 😅

Niceee, video. I missed the skitscape hunger games server I thought that had a huge player base too back in the day but maybe I'm wrong. Man, waiting 15mins for the queue to clear up so you could join a hunger games map. Those were the days.
really cool to see GommeHD being so big. Especially since Gomme(The person) was only making german content as well as all the other creators on there.
Great to see cosmic up there for a long time. PvP, sky and prisons were amazing growing up
Awesome video. A good reminscence of the past. Lol, I remember playing sexycraft way back in 2013. simpler times. And its sad to see hyplixel absorbing the majority of players within java which leaves out the opportunity for competition and innovation. Hypixel is decent but there are (were) many other servers offering a broad varitey of unique games that hypixel could never mimic.

UberMC is such a source of nostalgia for me. My favorite Minecraft server 10 years ago
its so surreal to me that UberMC was only popular this long ago. It basically shaped my Skyblock experience all the way through 2016-17 I think, my ten year old self grinded it up to ten hours a day during the weekends, and for me it was the best server in the world. Shared a big ass island with three other 10-12 year olds whose names I never got to know. We grinded together, played for hours, talked about our days like we were best friends. Its kinda sad to think I'll never have a shot at meeting them again, and its even sadder that the server closed a few years ago. It almost feels like a dream.

Minetown is still up today too! I play there every day (If you don't know what I'm talking about, it was the third server at the start)
Wynncraft is 3rd biggest java server now with cubecraft dying, 2nd not including minehut
As a Minecraft Player, BrokenLens (A Bedrock server also available in Java) is my favorite server but it got shut down on April 16th, 2022...
I remember when I was young I played this one Minecraft server everyday. I made so many friends, but I lost the Minecraft account, just recently I found the account but it got rid of the servers which made me sad. I think it started with a p, and the logo had a large p I think. It had pvp, creative, skyblock, survival, parkour, and this one game idk what it’s called I think there’s red and blue and they fight, and the map for it is like a castle? I wish I could remember it. I miss the friends I made there
It sounded funny but Hypixel China once had its time as well (iirc around 30k concurrent players?), just not so lucky as it closed just in 3 years. Its data is available on minetrack as you’ve mentioned in the description section (eh if you are interested to add it).
Also yeah it’s sad to see Mineplex Java is falling nowadays, soon it will be its 10th anniversary…

@@JacksonMarczyk it’s a funny existence, isn’t it? Hypixel really tried to expand, the first year seemed to be great. Not even any other server had tried this before. Somehow the close of Hypixel China surely told us the cooperation between NetEase and Hypixel failed. We don’t know why, but I guess Hypixel just didn’t earn much (or they didn’t benefit at all) from this cooperation and would rather focus on other things.

There was a hungarian minecraft server named MesterMC, it had 10k players in like 2015-16 idk why is it not up there (u could only play it on cracked mc)

What is the Siege server that we can see rising very fast at the end? i've been trying to look for something about it but basically nothing shows except that apparently it's an RPG, and it has an non-working IP
I'm not entirely sure myself, might consider removing it for the 2023 Edition.

i dont remember the name of the server but when i was a child there was an server that only a dark room that some bedrocks on that room, you cant register on that server. it comes with first server in list automatic

Hypixel has lossed it's player base alot it's just 40 to 30k online these days
It's peak of player was mid pandemic when everyone was inside.
Hypixel just destroyed every other server which is really sad

@@aatroxtheworldender933Fit doesn’t really even represent what the server is about. All of his videos are too exaggerated. 2b2t is more or less a place where edgy teenagers can hang out and do whatever they want while at the same time attracting really good builders and PVPers.

I remember playing on the jerry and Harry server, the hypixel server when it still had a herobrine mansion map, and mineplex when it was the most popular server and the memories were fun but mineplex at its best was my favorite server

With the exception of Hyixel (which I don't really like that much), Java multiplayer is basically dead, the other popular servers are all really bad, and don't have good minigames to play. I still miss playing Hide And Seek and Death Run on the Hive Java.

@@lotus7870 As of now, more people are in school and can't really play like they did in the summer. I can't deny the lower player count though, but I'm still not sure Hypixel is "dying" per say.

Where are the Turkish servers? CraftRise and SonOyuncu servers see between 6-15k active and deserve to be here.
CraftRise is in the video, it appears very close to the end. As for SonOyuncu, that will be added in the 2023 Edition.
@@JacksonMarczyk I will be happy if you add it in 2023, Please add the online numbers on Turkish servers correctly, Because Turkish servers reached up to 17k online CraftRise 16k SonOyuncu around 2020.But most videos don't show this.
I would appreciate if you add the old Turkish servers in addition such as LegendCraft, CandyCraft, UnioCraft, etc. have seen nearly 4k activity between 2016-2018, I would appreciate if you add them to this list. I look forward to your continued success.

@@JacksonMarczyk Thank you for being so interested, The server named Provanas can also be added to the servers I mentioned in the previous comment. (Note: In the last major maintenance Hypixel was under maintenance, CraftRise became the world's 2nd or 3rd biggest server for a short time, and of course SonOyuncu was after it)
@@JacksonMarczyk Hi, I just watched this video again and found CraftRise very few online join server list late, this server saw 3000-4000 online in 2018. When the rival server SonOyuncu was taken into maintenance, CraftRise saw 20k online.

A lack of Management and Updates and bascally no European support. It was good while it lasted.

Hypixel and Mineplex competed for the top place in the server list and mineplex's games were improved by hypixel and players realized that it was better to play those minigames in a server with a decent anti-cheat system and a community that was listened to by the admins than playing in a server where the owner only wanted to make profit (thats why mineplex switched to updating their bedrock server and abandoned java). Also the lead developer and one of the owners and many mods and admins quit and a lot of drama occured in the community that eventually the game updates were poorly made and had several bugs. Obviously other servers took the oppurtunity of the mineplex drama to become more popular and soon after, most the mineplex players moved to hypixel but that doesnt matter since the servers are all dying anyways. A game cant be top 1 forever.

Epicube had more players active than fun craft for a long time but it close in 2018.
I don’t remember the name of the German server but It was known as one of the first server to do zombie invasion mods and also some mini games like cubecraft did. Maybe it will help you.
