That guy you're talking about holding the nitro rc car in the magazine, his name is Kevin Hetmanski. He was the editor for RC car action and did all the monster truck stuff. He is a legend and a monster truck king. He made a lot of custom trucks, axles etc for the magazine and racing

I had the same problem with my Lst 2 XXL cv rebuild kit, bought a set, waited 3 weeks to be delivered and they wouldn’t fit, the pins where to thick, just ended up making some on my lathe.

losi 454 clutch assembly ...you can use a standard flywheel but you have to use additional shims..its a pain
