    FTECU 2017-2019 Suzuki GSXR1000 ABS Delete allows you to remove the factory ABS system completely without error codes on your GSXR's dashboard. For off-road track use ONLY! This unit allows you to remove the ABS pump assembly while saving much needed weight for race applications when the ABS is not needed. Weight reduction is slightly over 3 lbs. saving (aftermarket brake lines not included).
    The Flash Tune ABS Delete Plus should be installed on any that has had the ABS system eliminated. This allows you to remove the ABS module and BPMV from the bike which save over 3 lbs and frees up space in the sub frame area. We installed this on our STG R1 Project Bike and have tested it will flawless results. On our R1 we installed a set of Spiegler Brake Lines for the R1 that eliminated the ABS and installed the Flast Tune ABS Delete Plus once it was released.

    Hey man love the video. I am about to do this. I know I need non abs brake lines but do I have to measure and order custom made brake lines or does someone sell a kit?

    • @sportbiketrackgear

      No we have these kits available from Spiegler. There are a couple of options on the page, you will need to choose any of them that does not have ABS in the title. Here is the link: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/parts/suzuki/gsx-r1000/2017/?_bc_fsnf=1&Department=Brakes - Van

    Hey Brian, love your build series. Was set on the R1 but now im torn between the Gsxr1000r. What do you like about the Suzuki compared to the Yamaha? Ive owned a Gsxr600 and really road nice. I know Josh Herrin made the switch and loves it and his riding reflects it as well. Would appreciate your feed back bud.

    Hello my brother wonderful video. Thank you for posting that my bike is a 2017 Honda CBR 1000rr SP2 and I absolutely hate the ABS. I just don’t know any company that is offering a flash tune to get it away from my ECU and either I can cap off the ABS module. I would prefer to remove it like you did that would be fantastic if there’s anyway you can research that and maybe find out if there’s a company offering that for me, thank you brother.

    What difference could brake lines make to ABS on or off? Yes obviously braided lines will fade less and keep stronger pressure but why would one need to change from one type of braided lines to another, as you suggest, when removing the ABS pump and fuse?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you remove the ABS pump you will also have to replace the brake lines because the BMPV and the pump are removed as a unit. - Van

    Hello Brian, disconnected the ABS fuse and noticed the ABS amber light on the left side of cluster. I have a 2020 GSX-R1000R. Maybe I never noticed it before and maybe the ABS light was always on? I just came back from a short ride and it felt like the bike did stop without a mushy feeling, more direct and precise. Or maybe it's all in my head. The reason I removed the fuse is this weekend I will be at Fontana speedway. Did you notice any difference when you disconnected the fuse in braking pressure or brake feel. Maybe I'm over thinking this and had a long day!
    Thanks Brian

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Removing the fuse is another option for sure. They did this when I first rode this bike at the Superbike shootout when it was introduced. Installing the delete allows you to remove the system from the bike. - Van

Don't forget to buy 2 sets if you have two calipers on the front. Which this bike has.
