    A couple of years ago, my father passed away very suddenly. He was my best friend, so it was really tough on me. Despite this, I had to struggle really hard to cry, or show any strong emotion. It was odd because my outward appearance and reaction did not at all reflect how I felt inside. But, sometimes when I see a trailer for some dumb Disney movie, or I’m watching a movie and a sincere act of kindness or bravery is shown, I uncontrollably start crying. I’m wondering if this is a form of synesthesia, or something similar.
