    Would have been fascinating to hear what Ike's thoughts would have been on Vietnam had he survived another decade. Here he's totally in LBJ's corner. Was a bit surprised to hear Eisenhower so openly contemptuous of RFK at 14:15: "If they ever want that little pipsqueak as President of the United States, by golly, I'm gonna get out on the hustings . . ."

      Ike's from Abilene KS, not Abilene TX, but still.

      @@kurtwehrmeister5684 Ike was born in Texas, though his family was from Kansas and soon moved back to Kansas when he was a child.
