- A global technology outage grounded flights, knocked banks and hospital systems offline and media outlets off air on Friday in a massive disruption that affected companies and services around the world and highlighted dependence on software from a handful of providers.

I’m baffled has everyone suddenly forgotten how to use a pen and paper, a telephone or radio, or even a fax machine? This is how we conducted business up until a few years ago and it worked just fine.
Hard part about using pen and paper is that people's records are digital, and you can't just magically poof it back up. Thousands of people with tens of thousands of records, try bringing that back with pen and paper nowadays
Try finding a radio, FAX machine, a pen or paper to write on.
No longer exist - on demand
Apparently even lifts in auto shops were down 🤦♂️ These idiots tie EVERYTHING to the “cloud”
This is what happens when these companies ditch their IT people and out source the work.

It only effects Microsoft Windows, it did NOT effect Apple or Linux.

@RMX7777 It’s windows that keeps trying to load a crashing driver. It’s also windows that started this whole “you don’t own your computer” debacle with back door remote access to your machine.
@@XeenimChoorch-nx8wx I'm not trying to say that the direction Windows has been pushing things lately is good, it's not. That aside, CrowdStrike is cyber security software. It's deep rooted in the machine, it has to be to function properly. 100% of the fault lies with CrowdStrike.
@RMX7777 It’s not 100%. Read the issues I pointed out. Linux servers have not been nearly as affected because their boot procedure is more robust than windows.
