  • This is a review of a Tuesday beach cruiser bicycle. If you were looking for a modern classic beach cruiser bicycle, Tuesday makes some really nice beach cruiser bikes, which are designed to be very comfortable to ride, and to withstand the salty air and moisture of the beach without getting rusty. In this video review, I ride a Tuesday cruiser bike with a seven speed transmission at the beach, and I tell you what I like about it and what I don’t like about it. If you are thinking about getting a beach cruiser bicycle, the Tuesday beach cruiser bikes are very nice, and I recommend them. This beach Cruiser bike is made by Tuesday Cycles. This might be the best beach cruiser bike you can buy.
    Here is the Tuesday bicycle website with all of the different bikes they make.

    I've had mine about 2 weeks. I am 66 years old and have had 2 knee replacements. The dealer recommended this one to me over the Schwinn that I was going to get, because of the pedaling ease. He said with my knees, this one would be easier to pedal and it sure is. I'm up to about 4 miles a day and getting better constantly! Love it.

      This bike should be perfect for that. It is really comfortable, and the handlebars allow you to sit straight up, and it’s great to have that low gear for getting up hills without a lot of effort. The only thing that might make it better would be an electric wheel kit, to turn it into an e-bike.

      Cruisers are great. This one would be even more fun with an electric motor on it.

      You’re right. This thing really is the perfect cruiser. The gears are good enough for the steep hills between the city and the beach, and it is designed not to rust, and to be really comfortable to ride. It will probably last a long time as well.

    "If you don't have a beach then you should move somewhere where you have a beach" - sage advice, indeed...

    I have a bike in this style that I use to go to the beach, it's actually a mountain bike with a beach cruiser style frame called Merlin newsboy, it's a 90s titanium frame very quality strong and lightweight. But mine has a BMX style handlebars and stem

    I'm a girl and was thinking about a beach cruiser. I have never rode a bike before so this would be my first bike. Do you think a beach cruiser would be a good first bike? I'd just be riding it in my neighborhood but my neighborhood has a couple potholes and hills.

    • @hoohoohoblin
      @hoohoohoblin  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes. This would be a great bike. The low gear is low enough to get you up a big hill, and it is really comfortable to ride. The only reason not to buy it would be that it can’t go as fast as a racing bike, but if you don’t care about going superfast, it’s perfect.

    so Electra like. nice bike

    • @hoohoohoblin
      @hoohoohoblin  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is similar. I need to check out one of those Electra beach cruiser bikes and see what the difference is. These guys did a really good job of designing it to be comfortable and very salt and rust resistant.

    It's so comfortable he's riding it bare footed😄

    • @hoohoohoblin
      @hoohoohoblin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. They designed the pedals to be ridden barefoot. One side has a little spikes, and the other side is soft rubber.

    Sick bike. Is it good for long rides like 15miles?

    • @hoohoohoblin
      @hoohoohoblin  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes. It is definitely comfortable, and if you put a lot of pressure in the tires it can roll along pretty fast as well. That big low gear makes it easy to get up steep hills as well. You can’t go superfast on it, but you can ride comfortably for a long time.

    Neato.... what motorcycles do you have left. Still have the FXR?

    • @hoohoohoblin
      @hoohoohoblin  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I still have the Honda 500, a couple of dirt bikes, the old Royal infield, the Harley FXR, the Buell, and the Kawasaki 1200. Most of them have been sitting too long and don’t run anymore, except for the Buell and the Honda. The FXR has a broken belt, and some kind of electrical problem where the engine dies after running for minute. Someday I’ll get around to fixing them, but I had some injuries, and now I’m trying to get back in shape, so I just haven’t had much time for motorcycles.
